Hello respected folks, I submitted my original passport at Lagos VAC on December 30, 2022. It's ready for pickup. How do I pay for it to be couriered to me as I was emailed that in-person collection is suspended for now? Thank you. Regards! |

1. You stand a better chance with post-graduate programs. 2. No, but again post-graduate program and preferably the one related to your present job 3. No, it will not, but for a stronger application, go for a postgraduate. Send me a message if you need assistance securing post-graduate admission. 4. It is doable Jimdatzme: 2 Likes |

That's a generic message they send to everyone whose passport is ready. The sent me the same thing I but I still went there(Lagos VFS) in person to collect it. Just make sure you go between 8am to 10am. Ojukwudfugitive: 2 Likes |

Hi Guys, I got offered an admission to Centennial College Since 15th of December. They asked me to pay the deposit fee of $2650. I paid on 23rd December but small problem come dey. The bank officer made a mistake with one of the digits reflecting my Student ID. Although my Name is also reflected there. Make dem no go give my money to another student. I've sent mails to the school as touching this ... they are still yet to respond and time is going. The program is for may 2023 and I need sufficient time for my Visa application. Has anyone been in this situation before, what do y'all advice. |

bullstriker: Thanks a lot. This is much appreciated. Please further enquiries from me. I have a 10 year gap in education of which i have been working. I am planning on applying for Masters in project management or MBA. This is because i have been working on projects and managing contracts (internationally) for my company. I had a first class in my BSc that is totally unrelated to what i do presently. 1. Is it better to go for a one year MBA or a 2 yr masters in projects management (I saw a couple of one year Masters) considering plan to relocate after a PGWP. 2. Is it better to apply as a family of 6 since i plan to use it is as a pathway to emigrate or is it safer to simply apply 1st then request my family to join me. I have adequate PoF for a family of 6 including tuition. Although 2 of my kids are americans so not sure how the visa process affects them but i understand they may need a TRV or eTA. 3 . If i am to apply for the whole family (i really don't want to be separated from family) will landed properties, cars and a thriving business be good enough home ties? Additionally, my salary in Nigeria is quite high and i plan on stating that on my return the extra degree is expected to increase my earning which is an extra motivation to return to nigeria. Not sure if these will fly. 4. My family are currently in the USA, should my application be approved, will they need to come to nigeria to be thumb printed and do medicals since i am applying from nigeria or they can submit passports from the US and do their medicals there as well. 5. Just to be clear, is the POF to cover your entire tuition and the first year only (if doing a 2 yr course) or cover the 2 yrs including full tuition? |

1. Go for a two-year program so you can get 3 years of PGWP 2. It is safer to apply alone, but that doesn’t mean you can’t apply as a family if you have strong ties. U.S. citizens do not need a visa to travel to Canada, but a permit is required to study. They can apply from inside Canada (an office in Canada will process their application). 3. Yes, they are good enough. I would suggest a 2-year program if you intend to apply with your family. A one-year program might not justify travelling with the whole family and can raise the issue of your intention to return. Yes, salary increments and promotions are incentives to return to home countries. 4. Applicants less than 14 years are not required to do biometrics. With your consent, the kids can travel with your spouse from the U.S. Your spouse can apply and do medical and biometrics in the U.S. If you apply as a family, IRCC will process her application simultaneously with yours even if her country of residence differs from yours. So yes, she can submit her passport in the US as long as she legally resides there. 5. If you are applying as a self-sponsor, your tuition should cover the tuition fees for 2 yrs and accompanying family members' living expenses. If you have a sponsor, you are only required to show a one-year tuition fee for you and accompanying family members. danowena: 2 Likes |
