Hello House, good morning i have a futuristic problem for my visa application, my problem is my name issue
1. my birth certificate as my father name as my surname but unfortunately, my dad is late and my mums financial document bears my grandfather's name also my siblings are using my grandfathers name, please i would like to know if this could create any doubt or affect my application for study visa as we have different surnames but i have some primary school and secondary school result to show that i was using the same surname as them when i was in high school but i also have an affidavit for change of name, PLEASE I NEED YOUR URGENT RESPONSE AND ADVICE

Hello! I just want to kick start my application to study in Canada, I have a Masters in Engineering but graduated with 2-2 in my undergraduate. Can I apply for another masters program (same discipline) in Canada. And pls what is my chance of getting admission. I believe my masters degree shld give me edge since I won't be consider admission if I use only my 2-2 undergraduate degree. Thanks!

If your documents bear your grandfather's name, just do a new birth certificate and use your grandfather's name

is anyone going to the University of Winnipeg? What card did you use for payment? I don't want to buy dollars at 1015 naira at ChipperCard. cry

1015 is quite steep. Better to buy usd from aboki at 750 and credit a dollar account, then use the dollar card.

I have a dollar card, but it didn't work, only ChipperCard seems to be working. It even hurts me to do this route, but I want to do the application fee fast, I'm hoping there's an alternative for school fees.

Sorry it's 765 on ChipperCard my AccessBank is a Visa Gold it's tied to a DOM Account, it always works, this is the first time I'm seeing it fail. I checked the response code from UoW website and for my access it says Declined from the response code.

FInally went through with ChipperCard

This is a tricky case! It won't be wise for you to apply for masters in the same discipline where you already have masters. You can only do this if you won't disclose your existing masters. They will not agree with your study purpose if you disclose.

If you can get masters admission with only your bsc, then you are good to go without disclosing that you already have a similar masters.

If not just go for diploma with your 2.2 degree.

congrats Leadforteservic!

My application with IRCC is still pending, and I got my new LOA for May intake last week. I just sent it via webform and via email to IRCC. My question is I hope this will not cause a further delay to my application as some people advised me to hold on and wait for a decision before sending an updated LOA.
