In a Neonatal unit An incubator is the single business unit like a seat in a plane,hotel room or restaurant table. It must perform economically. It is not charity
Neonatal intensive Care daily cost has been subject of academic research and comparison around the world

This is one of the reasons for brain drain.Nigerians cannot pay for this kind of high tech care
A functional Neonatal intensive Care Unit should have 24 hours specialist cover at a safe ratio

Many people shouting at the cost don't know that 30 seconds power failure or any other thing needed for their survival means the babies are gone. Again, no one knows how long they will be there and the type of treatment they get daily. It might not be outrageous after all. How much was spent of Yusuf alone when he fell on bike? ICU is not easy both ways.
