Popular Nigerian televangelist, Mike Bamiloye has cautioned christians who pay their tithe and offering with money won from sports betting, IGBERETV reports.

It is one thing to give unto the Lord, it's another thing that what you gave to be acceptable unto the Lord. Anyone can give anything, but the question is whether or not it's acceptable.

Gambling is dangerous. It has destroyed more people than it made them.

Gambling is considered a sin and bad habit in the Bible. You may as well ask if you can present money from prostitution to God because you "have no other source of income." Even admitting that one has no source of income besides gambling should be a shameful thing for a Christian. There's nothing like PA to God by the way. Standards aren't meant to be watered down.

There's nowhere in the Bible that says gambling is a sin, but the Bible did say getting involved in getting rich quick scheme might lead you to commit sins, as money is the root of all evil, when you gamble and its affecting you and your family, your relationship and everyone around you, that is a sin, so if you want to gamble, gamble responsibly
