If during the 12months of no pay a staff decides to resign after 5 months does he get paid for that 5months when payments are made or he loses everything?

Cos I am starting to think these non payment of salaries is to force people to resign or quit in protest

I don't whether is like this in America oh but government jobs here in Nigeria especially state government jobs is not it at all. You can't achieve much with the pay because the pay is small.

I think it's delibarate move to force people out of the system.

The annoying thing is the fact that government would not even give a reason why salaries are delayed. At least let somebody come out and say " oh, we didn't get allocation from FG last month so we won't be able to pay this month salary until this month's allocation comes in " or something like "We are short on funds because of down parent we made on roads being constructed in so,so and so communities.....we will make it up to u next month ".

Like they just ghost the people and people continue with their lives like it's nothing. Imagine in a family of 4 in Abia where the mother and father are doctors and they have two young children to tend to. How have people like that been surviving? E reach to ask " WHO IS BANKROLLING THEM?
