pufframmy: If you read my reply well, you’ll see it says it’s optional and there was no where I said you can’t do it anytime. I also mentioned you can either wait for IRCC to request for it before you do it. It’s all at your discretion. As you like or prefer. Peace 1 Like |

aestake: Why do people respond harshly to other people without considering their mental health? Read your response again, if someone responded to you in this manner, would you like it? If you don’t have anything to say, it’s better you pass the post. Peace 16 Likes |

Callmiabbby: Just order for GCMS notes, though it takes between 30-300 days, but this will give you insight to the VO’s concerns. Can you also confirm your admission is still intact in the college? Peace 4 Likes |

Good morning. Please I need advice on this. My sister student visa got approved after she had deferred her admission to September 2023. What can she do now because the visa is currently running, and will expire at the time she resumes school if she decides to wait. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Pace6: 10:42am On Jan 14, 2023 |
Eventus31: When will the visa expire? I think usually they give more time on the visa than program start to end date and also the validity of your international passport. |

The visa expires in December 2023 and the passport is valid until 2026 Pace6: |

Good morning, pls I would like to know if any1 here has any advice for my situation at d moment. I got admission to umanitoba for bsc general, a course listed on their website to be 3yrs,advanced direct entry which mean its 2yrs sha that the program will be, I already planned to get mpower funds plus sponsor to apply for visa, only for Manitoba to list the course as 4yr course in my admission letter. I have called and mailed them 4 a change nd to explain my dilemma dis people said they list it as 4yrs CA's d science general is just like a general faculty. Now mpower agent are saying they need proof from Manitoba that I will be graduating in the next 2yrs as per their policy,Manitoba is refusing . Does anyone know what I should do here cause its frustrating and wasting time... |

Pace6:Thank you for your response, the reason stated was not enough family ties and whether I will come back home. I still have my admission with the school. Do you think I am eligible to a refund, even if I have participated in the 3months introductory class. |

Callmiabbby:It is wrong. Canadian govt wants to be sure your documents esp financial ones are from those who can defray your education cost and living expenses here so that you don't constitute destitute. I have an acquaintance now who came in anyhow this month and wahala dey. The other guy romancing your situation may not be in Canada. 1 Like |

Eventus31: There’s still plenty of time. She can leave in August, as long as she enters before the visa expiration, the Study Permit that will be gotten at the POE is the most important. The visa allows you entry into the country. Peace. 6 Likes |

Eventus31:. Don't get confused. The visa only allows her to travel to Canada. It is when she gets to Canada that she will get her study permit. So as long as she deferred her start to fall 2023 , she must also make sure she has an updated letter of acceptance which shows the program starting in fall 2023. If she likes she can also forward IRCC the new letter of acceptance for records , via webform. When she decides to travel later in the year she won't have any problems. |

Greetings guys, I need an advice, i have gotten visa (i give all glory to God and to everyone that we have joined positive energy together) but courier service has not communicated with me after vfs depached it from Abuja on Thursday, i didnt even get email on which courier service that is bringing it, i am just waiting, and 16th is deadline for registration. I was told i MUST be physically present in class on or before 16th. I am hoping to get my passport soon and get to school on 18th or 19th, depending on when i get my passport. My school is Centennial College, i still wish to join classes, has anyone had this issue of going to Canada 4 days after school deadline and joined lecture. Please if you can help a brother. Thanks for your contribution. |
