I don't think it is necessary. Your medicals will be sent by the OIM or the approved medical centre.
You're right too

Please house, my agent is requesting for 450,000 just for visa fee, so I that I can proceed for my medicals and biometric. My humble question is how is the current visa fee in AUD and feasible fee to be paid in naira? Matter of urgency thanks guys

The current visa application is 620 AUD. In my own opinion your agent is charging you high.

I thought as much. You have any idea in naira what my budget should be. Estimated ?
Do you suggest I opt to pay the visa fee myself ?

Great job guys for all the feedback. It has helped a lot in achieving our goals. Just a quick one...I'm 5months pregnant and a prospective Msc student in Australia. I have applied for visa and did not indicate that I am pregnant. Do you think being pregnant can hamper my chances of getting a student visa? Candid opinion/advice please...

Good evening house!

I’m starting my application processes to Australia, currently securing admission into UNSW and Griffith. I studied Civil engineering as my first degree (2013), post graduate degree in civil engineering (2020).

I’ve worked as a site engineer between 2015-2017 and worked as a Marketing Manager in a sales and marketing company from 2017-2021. Currently, I’m working as a business development manager in another sales and marketing company.

My question is, I’m going for masters in civil engineering, considering my recent work history, will it be a problem at visa application stage? Going for a master in civil engineering and working in sales and marketing company. Will it be better to apply for a business program?

Hello everyone,
Just want to use this medium to seek for help as I might be lucky to find one here. My sister has been able to process her admission in Australia. She has paid every fee necessary, gotten the visa and school is to resume this Monday. She booked her flight with an agent hoping she could get a good bargain through a cheap flight only for her money to be refunded yesterday that it won't be enough to get a flight for the amount she has. She has only a sum of #1.5m with her left. We have done our best to raise money for her tuition fees and all other fees. School resumes on Monday and I felt I should drop this here if anyone can help with an advise or anything worthwhile. Flight we are getting so far is over #2.7m and we really need an assistance from anyone out there. Please anybody who can help will be refunded as well. Please we really need this. Thank you all

What should be my budget for medicals and biometric?. The truth is this, I paid him the 450k for just the visa fee. Now he said I should expect a WhatsApp message hopefully this weekend to follow up and book for my medicals and biometric next week.

Greetings to everyone.

All praise to Yahweh!!!

My heartfelt gratitude to “Coulson”, Mary, Joel, Aaron (well I don’t know if the three latter are on here), and everyone that have contributed/contributing positively to this thread!

Below is my own timeline/quota/Contribution

School - RMIT
Program - Health Science (PhD)

7/12/2022 - lodged in my visa application

12/12/2022 - medicals

4/1/2023 - Received s56 receipt (Case Officer asked for evidence of current location).

16/1/2023 - Received Grant.

Note:
No biometrics
Reason - Mainland China is not among the countries listed on the biometrics collection program. Although I called and emailed DHA (department of home affairs), and was instructed to attach a letter to my immiaccount regarding the situation.
