I don't trade 1hr and 4hrs time frame. I trade daily, weekly and monthly time frame. I only use 4hr for entry. I have no business with 1hr. 4 Likes |

Cyril009: I think that is sth you have to decide for yourself. Here are a few tips I would use : 1.) Read about popular trading mistakes and how to avoid them 2.) Join the page, turn off auto download on telegram 3.) Scroll through the names of 5-20 courses posted there, check the names of the traders. 4.) Watch the content of the traders and see if you believe the trader is trustworthy or a scam. 5) Join their free groups. The trades they are posting, how many work out, 6.) Decide whether you want to be a price action or an indicator trader. 7.) Avoid any system that is based on scalping whilst beginning. Look for systems that are based on 4h and daily charts. You will know how the trader takes his trades from his youtube channel and his telegram group. 3 Likes 2 Shares |

ICT 2022 MENTORSHIP NOTES # EPISODE 2: Elements to a trade setup @KelvinFX_ - Between **8:30** **and 10:00** (NY session) is the sweet spot to trade, there is usally a setup you can find. - **High frequancy trading algortithms** will use market structure on a 1M, 2M , 3M chart, many times <1M TF. - There are **simple elements** that repeat, what you are looking for is : 1. A run of liquidity, buyside or sellside liquidity (buy stops/sell stops). If you are bearish you are looking for buy stops to be ran, then a break in market structure lower a short term low being broken. Vice versa if you are bullish. **EXAMPLE:** In this example below the daily bias was bearish. As you can see there was a consolidation phase and it swept SSL to trigger sell stops, to let retailers think that we are going down. Then what happened is that we went to BSL, triggering the buy stops and let retailers think that we are bullish. In both these scenarios the retailers hitted their SL. There is now enough liquidity being taken. Now the BFI makes the move down to the weekly SSL. As you can see on the chart there is a FVG in the discount area. Price can reverse here so it is a good target to set your TP area. 1 Like 1 Share

Cyril009: Before finding a strategy course, find courses that teaches the basics of forex trading. Learn the concepts, understand how mt4 works, understand margin, leverage, different types of orders, position sizing, risk management, trading psychology etc. Learn the basics. Treat it as going through school. Open a demo account with your chosen broker, so as you learn the theory, you can see the practical on your mt4 account. When you feel it's time to choose a strategy, understand who you are first. If you work with a strategy that suits your personality, you'll enjoy forex trading. But if you choose one that doesn't blend with your personality, you'll struggle longer than necessary. You can try out 2 to 4 different strategies (both day trading & swing). Then see the one that you resonate with best, and then focus on that one.. as time goes on, you may even further modify that strategy to your taste. Like Geovanni412 suggest, by watching the traders behind the strategy, you should be able to tell if that's for you or not.. (for me though, I like trying myself first.) Different people, different experience. The 7 points shared by Geovanni412 is 10/10, do adhere to it. One more thing, you'll succeed more if you treat this as a long term business...and not a get rich quick scheme. |

pipfisher: This is wrong. If you are to trade a prop account, 5kusd account size, your daily drawdown would be 250usd. And the target is 400 usd. On a 500usd account the daily drawdown should be 50usd and a target of 150_300usd in 30days. Worst case Is that he loses 50% in a week. Or blowup in two weeks. Have respect for the market. Don't gamble for high expectations |
