Here is the story, I had two declines when I applied for visit visas November 2021 and Feb 2022. Then I decided to go through study. The timeline is:

27th April 2022 upfront medical Abuja ( I had additional medical request on July when my sputum test can out successfully)

3rd Nov,2021 Biometric at Abuja

3rd or 4th May, 2022 submitted First study permit.
Long wait no medical update .

4th August 2022, I received a declined letter.

Reason : Insufficient fund

I quickly rearrange my sop and transferred all my fund at stannic mutual to GTB and I paid my fully school fees tuition.

9th August 2022, sent in new application
Another long wait. So I had to defered my study to September 2023.

23rd December ,2022 , medical update to passed

15th January 2023 , final decision PPR.

This is just brief , I really had sleepless night during that medical because I was told my x-ray results has problem( according to them my lungs are not clear)
But to God be the glory everything went fine.

please I got an email from IOM that my medicals have been sent IRCC since the 22nd of October last year and nothing about my medicals has reflected on the ircc website.. Any idea what could be wrong?

Your application has passed the normal processing time. Have your tried sending webforms and emails to IRCC requesting your application status? If you haven't, try sending webform and email. You can also order your GCMS notes to know what is happening on your application. If you haven't done your medicals, would advise you go for it if you are resuming anytime soon.

our situation is similar. I did my biometrics october 12, 2022 and biometrics passed the same day. Did upfront medicals in October too. yet nothing has been updated on my page at all apart from biometrics.

Do you use Form A for the tuition deposit and @ which bank?

The Visa officers treat them the same way as of pg diplomas and masters. They grant visas for them too as long as you can prove your study purpose and funds.

I just got visa for a similar program despite over 15 years study gap.

So pls go ahead and apply!

But is it recorded as interim high school transcript why not saying received at that English proficiency

I’ve booked with iom Abj … but I noticed something here… almost everybody I’m seeing here doing upfront medical… did the Medicaid months before going for biometrics.. I saw someone that did his medical here in April and went for biometrics on July… but mine.. I want to do my upfront medicals a day after my biometrics… is this really possible pls… cause I don’t want to make mistakes..

You're not making a mistake. I did my medical 2weeks after my biometrics. it was also updated to "passed" same day I sent my medical sheet through webform.
So you have nothing to worry about.

Nothing is wrong, just send your medical sheet to Ircc through webform. It will be updated

I am in a tight corner as my tuition deposit deadline at Humber College is fast approaching and my Form A was just recently declined by First bank after weeks of waiting. Reason being that they don't fund graduate certificate programs but bachelor's degree, masters n PhD. Now I want to initiate another Form A at a different bank but want to be sure of the successful outcome before I embark on it.

Try Stanbic IBTC, UBA and GTB. But ask them before initiating another transaction.

1. You apply through the college portal. That's where you will upload the transcript.
2. I used my own stamped copy to apply. I used official transcript that was sent to my workplace by my University.

3. I don't know how long UNIBEN takes to process transcript.

I got a do not reply email few minutes ago requesting I resubmit my application and all the documents I submitted through webform. Please can the gurus in the house help me to explain this 3, also do I submit same SOA I submitted 14weeks ago?
Amongst the things they requested are:

*Mailing method (courier, Canada Post (registered or regular mail), etc.),
company used,
confirmation no.,
*Complete address (including the postal code and the unit number) where the application was sent
*Receipt number.

Whatever works for you is fine. In my case, I attached a picture and the value of the property. This was not even an official valuation. I think it depends on how well you're able to prove it. If you have all those documents, there is no harm in attaching them just make sure you are not only attaching but explaining well.

Turns out my PPR was out as at the time I made the statement in quote, but I didn't get to know because I used an agent!

I also don't know when, or if eligibility started or passed. The agent is not the communicating type.

I gave them a whole lot of documents, I don't know exactly which was used, or not.

Bottom line is, IT ENDED IN PRAISE!!!

Thank you to everyone on this page who kept reassuring those waiting, it meant a lot coming on here to celebrate with others and get hopeful for my expectations!

For those still waiting, hold on, be strong, cos what God cannot do does not exist!!!
