If the labor was quoted as per sqm, then you should be paying per sqm of what was laid just like you'll do for tiles.
You should focus on how he can measure by himself, like suggest another artisan (tiler/PoP/painter) that may be on site to help him measure. or he should invite someone he trusts.

You need to make sure he's convinced you're not cheating him.

PS: Most of the 20mm bendable pipes were put in place before casting lintel and roofing beams. What is left is mostly extensions for the socket pipes and a few other fresh additions.

Posting or not posting picture is a matter of professionalism and courtesy. Nobody can stop you from posting any picture that is PLAIN VIEW SIGHT of the public. Inside your house is definitely not in plain view sight of the public. You can find pictures of any house in the US on google map. Even the inside pictures of most houses can be found on Zillow, they woould not be doing it if it was not permitted

more reason for drawing is get the accurate leght, breath and volume so as to give an accurate extimate. Of course they don't encourage drawings so they can easily rip off the client.
Without the structural drawing how do I know what areas the beam passes through because I can't assume when I don't know what's on your Engineers mind.
