As much as what you wrote has pepper on it, it is the truth.

People will vote for whatever reasons they want to. I kinda disagree with you labelling it as POLITICS, but it is not a lie.

And we should also note that the problem is not the party sharing Agege bread and Noodles. The problem lies with the man that wants to trade his 4 year benefits for a plate of porridge, and that is why i believe this country won't get better by an inch.

Instead of blaming APC or PDP for sharing bread, blame to man that traded his PVC for it.

He fcvking had a choice to decline
I am one of those who keep saying that as a country, it is a miracle we are still together.

One thing I love about this our wisdom forum is that when LP video leaked showing people(they were wearing LP attire) asking for their mobilization money, we all agreed that it was APC miscreants trying to be mischievous. When the Obi bread issue came out, we all supported the motion that BATist were desperate. Picture of Obi sharing money, Old video, nothing much to see: it was not a campaign rally.

Now APC video is out and it suddenly turned to Weaponization of Poverty.

We will run permutations and combinations here. We will drop think pieces here, we will have a world class debate here. We will question morality and it's compass here.
At the end, people will vote because of 1500, or the way an Igbo man treated them or that a Yoruba demon broke his daughter's heart.

Never be devoid of reality

The emboldened makes a lot of sense. I also appreciate your logical presentation. Hence the reason why people have to be educated so as to make informed decisions.

When people are asked to vote wisely, here's what it means...

Some dy even yarn say Obi go win kogi, Niger and nasarawa. Some people no dy fear God wallahi.

How do you think of it? How? I mean, which part of kogi and Niger can Obi win. I will credit them if they can garner 20k for Niger or kogi state.

Oga Donjazet2, I'm using this medium to remind you of the bet. Take it and I promise you, you will never regret it. You're a man of your word. Whatever you say, you do. Take this bet and you will have a win win situation.

Iroye ozo areyin fah!
Are you arguing what WHO poll has said?
You must be ignorant to question ECOWAS poll result. Sadly I would have taken the bet if not that we don't bet on Thursday in my house.

I really want to but someone here said something last time which truly made a lot of sense.

So I have one question,

INEC's official figures for last election was 26 million plus, do you think that those numbers are accurate?
Do you think that that election was absolutely free and fair and there weren't any number manipulations?

Question 2. Hope uzodimna is the governor of imo state today, do you believe that APC won the imo state election? Do you believe that more people voted for APC than they did for PDP in the last election in imo state?

So if by precedence the masses do indeed vote for Obi overwhelmingly but figures are manipulated nko? Because i have absolutely no doubt that Obi will get win more votes than Tinubu, the question is what happens when the people's mandate is denied and figures are manipulated?

Nah.... INEC is now responsible for Universities Management, hence they should shutdown the Schools so our Students can go home, get their PVCs and vote Peter Obi.

This argument reminds me of what pro-slavery ideologues argue. That we really don't have to blame the British because it was the Africans themselves who sold their own people for bicycles and mirrors. The argument tries to extricate the morally repugnant colonialists who went around and preyed on these smaller nations and used brute force many times yet gave them the mirage of a choice.

Why do we not see this blatant weaponization of poverty in Europe or America despite them also having poor people. Why can't one point out where a politician is paying people to vote for them in Europe?

We have voted two sick presidents recently and we've all seen how it ended. A sick Yar Adua and a sick Buhari has brought us thus far.

If u've experienced governance under two sick presidents and u still allow urself to be goaded into voting another one, na u know o.

There is a video on youtube that shows Boris Johnson sharing incentives to the people of his area during election period.

Was he also weaponizing poverty?

I was saying it the other day. The act of psycing voters with insentives is not a Nigeria only thing.

If you know you don't like the candidate, reject it. I am not blaming Tinubu or Obi for sharing bread, if you don't like the candidate, dont collect.

Got home in December, the semo I chop, na LP Oyo South senatorial candidate share am all over. Designed with Obi and Datti's name, and LP logo.

My mama collect am and she go vote Obi if medical emergency no dey work that day.

Sharing incentives no be sin. No dey make am look like sin. If you don't want something from a candidate, no collect am, and vote for anyone you want to vote for.

You cannot blame a thief for trying to steal: That was his objective in the first place.

What you should probe is why the police didn't catch him, or the victim did not guard his property, etc.

If you say APC and PDP (excluding LP) are thieves, why do you blame them for sharing bread and akara? Was that not their strategy in the first place?

The person you should question is the man that decided to collect 1k or 2k for his vote.

When you realize we have more people willing to trade their votes for 1k, you will understand why it would take the grace of God for Obi to win.

Sadly, you don't believe in God too.

Again I have no doubt Obi is the most popular candidate in this election.

But there is a reason these APC people keep hoping on the northern politicians, TO HELP THEM RIG.

Yes we do hope that INEC will sufficiently address those issues and I for one am optimistic about that, but one will be incredibly naive not to have it at the back of their minds that nigerian politicians will not go down without a fight and will employ various means to cling to power, what I'm strongly believing is that our will power collectively as a people will be strong enough to overpower these people, that we will turnout in great numbers and remain till the end to make surw our numbers reflect on INEC servers.
If these go according to plan, Obi is sworn in no distant time and Nigeria's institution begins to be revolutionized by the likes of prof Pat Utomi, barr dele farotimi, David hundeyin as efcc boss, Amina Yusuf as minister of education or youth affairs, Kenneth okonkwo as minister of information. Ngozi ideal coming back as minister of the economy. And Soo many other new and determined faces with a genuine desire to see nigeria work.

Meanwhile we are waiting for this evil government at the polling unit.
