Yesterday, I was opportune to speak with a grade-A Rep member about this recruitment. The summary of our long talk is that, appointment will be based largely on Merit.

According to him, NERC is a quasi-government agency and the recruitment process is being handled by a contractor, politicians will have minimal influence.

Even if anyone will influence it for you, you must at least pass the exam satisfactorily then the person can put in positive words for you.

Merit leads here.

Was process of awarding the contract to the contractor transparent and credible , and why that particular contrator amongst many? Are politicians, their friends and cronies no longer contactors in Nigeria ?

Guess the list will be released when politicians are too busy with their campaigns to interfere.

Someone just got his (APL) from NPA few days ago..I want to get mine too from NERC and give testimony anytime soon!
