Brighton won't want to gamble that price on Him because His contract is expiring by the end of the season, which will make him become a free agent since he is not willing to sign a new contract. Tottenham was the first club that showed interest but their offer was not accepted. They were left with only bid from Arsenal. To a measure, the deal was a good one for Brighton

Brighton has has been a good Academy for some big clubs in England. Trust me, Brighton won't relegate. Their performance is good enough to sustain them for the qualification they seek.
