I was always on the bus by 5:30am to get to school on time and then you get someone to lap you, which saves you money = extra pocket money.

The traffic is NEXT level. Eko ni le. cheesy

I understand that Nigeria is hard, but a lot of people need to take care of their health; bodily and mentally.

I left home 4:45, and queues are everywhere.

Like...people dey lodge for petrol stations now.

I thank God for not letting me subject myself to that kind of stress

Personally I believe those people on the queue are peopl who live on the outskirts of lagos/neaighboring communities like ota, oju ore, iyana iyesi, atan, Itele and co. I believe people like that do not have the luxury of buying fuel at almost 300 naira which most of their neaigborhood filling station will sell. So they wake up earlier than me and u, find their way to the city of Lagos and quickly form a queue hoping to buy fuel before midday.

The whole fuel scarcity is so annoying that there seem to be no end in sight cos the government can't even come up with a genuine reason where there's scarcity.

I empathise with you bro. I used to start my day at similar time to you but I'm acutely aware how much more one could get done in the time Lagos forces you yo waste in traffic

These days I work fully remote, but pre-pandemic I also used to leave my house at 4.30 to go to the gym. I will baff there and drive 5 minutes to the train to catch the 6.20 train to London 150+ miles away.

When I would get to London. I would walk 30 minutes to work for extra cardio and would still get to work before 9am

It's 6.45 am here now and I'm just about to leave the gym. I will go home, baff, have breakfast, do the school run, and still be at my desk for 9am.

My bro, I can't lie to you. Japa is the only way. In all your doings, aim to leave that hell hole.

I have been preaching that Canada gospel here for a while. No guarantees in life but for now it offers the best chance of social integration, good quality of life and economic security.

Omo me I usually wake up around 7.30am and get to work at 9am on a couple of days and some other days I wake up around 9.30am to get to work around 11am. I can’t come and kill myself.

You then add the fact that when he sang some of these songs we were still in the oil boom era.

People must have initially looked at him like he was crazy.

I think they did. Most parents warned their children to stay away from his Afrika shrine back then due to the open use of drugs in his Kalakuta Republic.
