APC is celebrating a former ward chairman, this is a pity. How many people a ward chairman can get? Infact even his family members will not follow him.

He can't.highest he will get in lagos is 55%,Ogun 70%,osun 55%,ondo,60%,ekiti 75%,Oyo 60%.thats an average of 62%...you hardly see igbos being against obi but you see so many yorubas being against tinubu

Its just that jealousy factor among the yoruba elite towards tinubu. You cant see the mainstream media owned by the yoruba positively disposed to Tinubu which is why the nation and tvc have come in handy. Even the norths daily trust is still unbiased towards tinubu.

You see the fmr peoples daily editor and the fmr daily trust columnist mahmud jega working for Tinubu now.

the op is misleading crumbs eaters. How many people will follow a ward chairman? The worst part is that he is a former ward chairman not even a serving ward chairman.
A sitting government is celebrating a former ward chairman? So this is how APC has been reduced to. God forbid.
Re: Former PDP Chairman, Vice Chairman In Jigawa Decamp To APC by ItsTutsi(m): 2:46pm On Jan 20, 2023
Media and SM are wrong avenue to gauge or predict the likelihood of an election event, especially in Africa and Nigeria

Most prediction, polls and comments emanate from urban regions, which only consist of about 30%.. most elections and votes cast are from the rural region

95% of rural people in the north only know APC, because they totally dominate there

So if you see comments on BBC hausa, legit or any hausa platform talking about PDP/NNPP.. these are mostly from urban areas which constitute only 10%

Just go through this thread: https://www.nairaland.com/4778327/picture-proofs-atiku-sweeping-votes

Buhari barely lost by just 200 votes, but from the comments, you will think he won't get 1 vote
donphilopus:

Tinubu would sure win the north. But it seems Atiku and Kwankwaso hold the media in the north just as Obi holds it in the south. I'm saying this because when you visit BBC Hausa, Kwankwaso has most supporters there followed by Atiku and Tinubu. I might be wrong though.

Yes. Chief Buthulezis party was waging a violent campaign against the ruling anc. He saw mandela as a rival. To defeat him, Mandela made him interior minister and he stopped the violence.

nothing like jealous factors. Can you openly support someone that everything around him is in secrecy?
I asked this question. If you tell me the name of Tinubu primary and secondary school I will vote for Tinubu.
How can it be possible that a reasonable person like me is supporting a man that licked microphone?
Yesterday I spend 16 hours on the que looking for fuel and you expect me to still go and vote for APC?

you believe that Tinubu will win a PDP state because it is a Yoruba state but you don't believe that Atiku will win northern APC States. Is that not madness?
Let me tell you the truth, most of the northern APC states governors are working for Atiku.

Buhari only lost with I think 200 votes in Benue
donphilopus:

It seems so too. I just visited Atiku's Facebook page and scrolled down to his pictures when he was contesting against Buhari in 2019. I discovered most northerners who supported Buhari then no longer comment on Atiku's pictures reason you'd think he dominates the north. But if you visit their profiles, you'd discover they're still posting about Tinubu. I also discovered Atiku's supporters in the north have drastically reduced courtesy Tinubu and Kwankwaso. Most people from Zamfara who supported him in 2019 are now with Tinubu. That might be the handiwork of Matawale. The difference between Tinubu and Atiku's votes in Zamfara might be higher than that of Buhari in 2019.

Honestly, the northerners are doing a good job for Tinubu in the north. It's left for his southwestern brothers to follow suit.
