Ogba did his, Odii did his.... The FHC upheld Odii, Ogba appealed.

Ogba was not a party to the suit Odii filed, so the SC threw it out on jurisdiction. He was supposed to obtain a leave of Court before he will approach the Appeal Court but he didn't. They didn't even touch the merits of the case but attacked the technicality.

On what ground please? This is setting a precedence for future elections litigations. How can a man contest for two different position when the law clearly states otherwise.

Surely the apex court erred in its judgement. It needs to be repealed.

But I think the new electoral law made it compulsory for the winner of the primary supervised by INEC to be the only recognized candidate by INEC.
