Honestly,I still imagine how obaseki defeated pastor iyamu osagie

I personally supported Obaseki though I wasn't around during the election. Most people didn't vote POI because of their hatred for Tinubu and Oshiomhole. I personally didn't support him because Oshiomhole told us he was a thief in 2016. I was surprised when he said he was no longer a thief in 2020.

Those on BBC hausa, legit and other hausa platforms are a tiny minority from urban areas which consist of about only 20%.. most elections are done and won in rural, especially in the north

Those people only know APC because they totally dominate the rural areas

Just check this thread as an example: https://www.nairaland.com/4778327/picture-proofs-atiku-sweeping-votes

Buhari only lost with I think 200 votes in Benue

You're right boss. I went to Atiku's Facebook page today and scrolled down to his threads in 2019. I discovered most northerners who supported Buhari in 2019 are still with Tinubu now but they hardly comment on posts on Legit, BBC, Atiku's pages. What surprised me when I went through the page was when I saw most northerners who supported Atiku in 2019 now supporting Tinubu. Most of them are from Zamfara though.

Hmm.I wanted oshiomhole to give the ticket to ogie or odubu as he was supposed to do in 2016.they wouldn't have betrayed him.I think next year will be turn of esan

Media and SM are wrong avenue to gauge or predict the likelihood of an election event, especially in Africa and Nigeria

Most prediction, polls and comments emanate from urban regions, which only consist of about 30%.. most elections and votes cast are from the rural region

95% of rural people in the north only know APC, because they totally dominate there

So if you see comments on BBC hausa, legit or any hausa platform talking about PDP/NNPP.. these are mostly from urban areas which constitute only 10%

Just go through this thread: https://www.nairaland.com/4778327/picture-proofs-atiku-sweeping-votes

Buhari barely lost by just 200 votes, but from the comments, you will think he won't get 1 vote

Ordinarily it should have been the turn of the Esans but most times they play their politics like the easterners. They don't build bridges. My people from Edo North may likely "change it" for them.

A sitting government is celebrating a former ward chairman? So this is how APC has been reduced to. God forbid.

Pdp has lost that ward and in a tight state like jigawa,it is very telling.again, you pdp guys have severally celebrated similar defections from apc

I asked this question. If you tell me the name of Tinubu primary and secondary school I will vote for Tinubu.
How can it be possible that a reasonable person like me is supporting a man that licked microphone?
Yesterday I spend 16 hours on the que looking for fuel and you expect me to still go and vote for APC?
The high prices of food don't know Yoruba, Muslim, christians or Igbo.

Tinubu doesnt need your vote to win.

Tinubu would win the southwest. However most of the western youths dunno their right from their left. They're forming liberal and woke when their eastern counterparts are marketing a failed product because they feel it's their turn. But with what I'm seeing on Twitter of recent, it seems most of their youths have started comporting themselves.

If 2m voters cast votes in Lagos, Tinubu should have 1m, Obi maybe 500k Atiku 320k and Kwankwaso 180k. Aside Lagos and some urban parts of Yoruba land, I expect votes coming from the rural area polling units to look this way: APC 290, PDP 27, Labour Party 9 and NNPP 1. At the end Tinubu should have 55-60% of the votes cast in the southwest.
This is my expectation and permutation too.

Oloriburuku oloshi amukumeko, be deceived yourself about SW and North, maybe you will use your hand to votes for us here in Sw make I see with all the rubbish APC has done.
And be deluding yourself about the north. I was in zamfara sometimes ago and I was shocked to see how Tinubu is even unpopular in the state, asked my friend he told me zamfara will not leave Atiku to vote for Tinubu.it will take a miracle for Tinubu to win any state in NW unless I’m in another NW.

I don't usually want to involve myself in politics discussion here on Nairaland, but all what I stated above are the reality in SW.

Most people you see online in SW that engage in politics discussion doesn't vote
I’m from Osun as well and if you think Tinubu will win Osun talk more of getting 70 percent of the votes, you need to wake up from your dream.
Not with all the level of hardship in this country.

The present ward chairman is intact, this former one was removed since 2015. So tell me what is his electoral value.

I have been reading your posts about how Tinubu will win the north and it’s hilarious laughable. If you are saying that because you are an Apc supporter then your optimism about your party is understandable,if not you yourself know that’s a very big lie.
As it is now,it will take a huge miracle for Tinubu to win a single state in the NW.
funny thing is that even in zamfara state where they have been voting for one party It seem very likely Tinubu will not win here.
Talk more of Jigawa State, the only place Apc has some level of support is within the 8 lgs of hadeija emirate because of the influence of Namadi danmodi Apc governorship candidate without this Tinubu would have struggled to get 25 percent in that state.
And one thing I have quickly seen here is that the none support of Tinubu in NW apart from the NW Apc politicians is not due to ethnicity but due to perceived APC failure.
However if you want keep lying to your fellow Apc supporters on nairaland about how Tinubu will win the north when the reality right now says otherwise, well continue to do so.
