To be honest, the expectation should be exactly this. Not sure why it should be better than this. Apart from Badiashile, we have no other of the new quality players we purchased on the pitch.

On top of that, James, Kovacic, Kante, Zakaria, Sterling, Pulisic, Chilwell Fofana, are all injured.

This match is displaying exactly where we are supposed to be.

For me this game has been quite interesting. None of the team is killing with back and sideways passes. Chances here and there. Misses,offside, great defending,saves from goalkeepers,quick transition, shots name them,is not what you witness in a boring game.

I agree that he should not play in the game at all but we also need to work with expectations. You can imagine he's a full bag of nerves at the moment, hoping not to give the ball away and cause a goal...and then in the cause of thinking it, he does exactly that.

My point is what is it that we expect from an 18 year old? Not make mistake after mistake? If that's the expectation, then we might as well shut down the academy.
