Victorclean1: When you say "severe poverty", what do you mean? Is that your personal experience? You can speak for yourself if you are in "severe poverty" here or is that how you collect dead chickens from poultry farmers here in Nigeria so as not to waste protein? 1 Like |

It is a shame that thousands of living creatures are made to live in a condition that require electricity to survive. It is a reckless technology. Life didn't begin with electricity. The management of that poultry should have created windows or even alternative power supply since incidence like this cant be written off, even if there has been stable power for 100 years. The management of the poultry are partly responsible for their loss and the gruesome killing of innocent chickens in an unpleasant situation. 1 Like |

Back then, price for each mortal , depending on the size was between 700-1500. Our supervisor then was a catholic man , he no Dey eat am so e go tell us to dispose it and trust boys nah. Although I never tasted it cos I was brought up in a Muslim family and they say na haram . Na those ashewo joints for exprsss I Dey sell am give Omo 50k birds na great loss |

kernniejay: The fact that we all have generators here does not make generators a usual equipment. May be they have a stable electricity supply possibly over some years. therefore no need for a generator you never tell |
