My class was supposed to start on the 9th JAN. 2023. But due to Visa delay I had to defer my admission and the deferral was denied because, I haven't paid up the 1st semester tuition fee, then I was advised by CONESTOGA COLLEGE to re-apply in the same program, which I did re-apply as advised on the 12th JAN. And they gave me admission on the 14th JAN. Now before I could send the new acceptance letter to IRCC through webform my PPR came out. Got my PPR on the 17th JAN. WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO NOW PLEASE, YOUR ADVICE IS NEEDED justwise: |

If he didn’t want to give you his bank statement you should’ve suggested the “my bank statement ticket “ to him so he can send it direct to the embassy. There’s no harm in that realestatewithb: 2 Likes |

Hello NLs. Just a quick one. So my previous study permit application was refused because of insufficient proof of funds. My GCMS notes from CBSA reads that I didn't provide sufficient documentation to establish relationship between me and my sponsor. meanwhile, my sponsor as indicated was my half brother (Sharing same mother but different fathers, hence bearing different surnames.) To proof this relationship, I had attached birth certificates of my brother and myself and to show that we shared same mother. Welp, to cut the long story short, I am reapplying but this time, My Mother wants to transfer funds into my account and to be backed up by a gift deed and affidavit. - My Questions are; 1. Is this a welcomed approach? Would there be any concerns by the VO 2. Is there any particular format for preparing a gift deed? 3. Are they other requirements to show proof of funds in this type of situation? Does my mum need to attach any other documents like to show the source of the Money? Thanks all for your responses . Hi again all, What is this “mybankstatement” i’m hearing about? Can I submit that instead of a full bank statement during visa application? How can my sponsor get it? Thanks in advance |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Cuppycak3: 2:45pm On Jan 22, 2023 |
Yes you can get it Just go to your bank and tell them you want “my bank statement Ticket for embassy “ they will give you a form to fill you’ll input the embassy you’re sending to and the time frame of the statement. Some banks like gt can request it through their apps ( go to statement in your app you’ll see “send to embassy, send to a third party” they will send you a ticket containing password. Print and add to your application. If it’s not in your bank app you can go to bank and request for it. It’s will save pages that you’ll add to ur application and it’s more trusted by the ircc as they view it directly on the bank database blueberryacres: 1 Like |

Good afternoon, Please guys I’m planning on applying but I don’t have a University of my choice and I want a university where I can school and also have time to work. An environment where I can get accommodation at a cheaper price and not very cold. Thank you |

Cuppycak3: Thank you so much for replying, so i just upload the printed ticket and password on the proof of fund section right? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by bullstriker: 3:22pm On Jan 22, 2023 |
A 2-month-old account is a red flag. As a result, the VO will likely scrutinize the funds, and the outcome might not favour you. But, a convincing reason for opening the account and the lump sum can tilt the decision in your favour, especially if you can show financial stability and ties by providing sources of income and ties. For example, a valuation report for landed properties, Investment certificate or letter for fixed deposits, employment and recommendation letters etc. Sometimes, the VOs consider economic and social factors when finance is on the borderline. Hello guys, My intake is September 2023 and I have gotten admission can I apply for a visa around February? Or it’s too early. Because I have heard that if you apply early you will get a refusal |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by BenedictStinson(m): 3:59pm On Jan 22, 2023 |
Palmstore:February isn't early at all. The school will advice you to apply as soon as possible so you have a buffer incase your application is delayed |

VicSanTROUBLE:Hi, Ultimately it depends on your course, but for me that’s going for undergraduate (i just left secondary school) my best option is New Brunswick, the summer months (from late march to late August) can get as warm as 27 degrees but the winter months get really cold. |

Hi bullstriker Can i apply with one year bank statement? Or does it have to be a small period? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Shrunkwriter: 4:26pm On Jan 22, 2023 |
Hello my people. Please quick one. How old is my statement of account permitted to be prior to submission. So I'm not referring to the length of the statement of account. I'm referring to the duration between "printing" and "application submission". |
