PDP had a structure. LP doesn't have that. Just face the reality on ground, when they say structure, it means party stalwarts at all levels of any state , local or ward. Imagine in Jigawa state for example, the whole exco and aspirants decamped to APC, in Ogun state, same thing. When rigging starts in these states, PO will have no one to fight for him. Even in the east, he will have a tough time because that is PDP stronghold. He will do well but the reality on ground is that he can't win this election. He can build on his profile, build a structure with the help of Nigerian youths and prepare in a merger sort of in 2027.

He ll lose these states plus all of the south west too.

If you are to go by the 2011 result the obvious winner will be Tinubu.

How will he win when he doesn't have enough vote from SS and SE, plateau, Benue, Nassarawa, Niger, Abuja are for obi.

I hope you know all SE and SS states are in the bag for obi

Lagos Obi is winning over 40%

He will get more than 25% from all SW state(You can try this survey in any SW state ask 4 Yoruba people two are for obi two are for Tinubu). The yorubas always argue with each other over Peter Obi.

PDP “had a structure” yet Buhari and his structure-less CPC swept every state (including those with sitting PDP governors) in the 12 core Muslim-dominant northern states?

Did the CPC even have a single councillor anywhere in Nigeria before ammasing over 12 million votes?

The only impediment to Obi’s victory next month is the SS/SE. He’ll be home and dry for Aso Rock before 2pm on election day if he wins those 2 regions en-bloc.
25% in at least 24 states is certain.

Bihari had a structure with CPC. You forget that PMB was an ANPP member and he and his supporters decamped and formed the CPC. ANPP had structure already. You can't talk of block votes without the needed structure, this is a presidential election and not a loca government or assembly something. It's a whole different ball game.

Answer this question

Between structure and people being tired of bad governance which is superior?

Did you expect the turn out for obi in any of his rallies since it began?
So shall his vote be bro

Obi is nowhere near Jonathan politically even with his naivety. The two are not comparable at all as Jonathan benefited from incumbency factor and massive rigging that took place in the south.
Obi is only riding and banking on religious sentiment and nothing else!

Forget what happened in Kano today. Let's stake here that he will not score up to 100,000 votes there. Remember this day and let's chat again on 27th February Insha Allah. Na Kanawa go vote Obi?
Forget the rallies or the crowd. When we get to election proper, you will see the need for structure. He will wail of rigging, voter manipulation et al. buh that wouldn't change the outcome.

Niger?Nasarawa ? I thought we are being realistic.

Winning SE n SS and getting 25% in the SW didn't stop GEJ from losing in 2015 and Atiku in 2019.

Obi can't get 25% from 15 states so also Atiku in almost all the states in South.
Only Tinubu can win or get 25% from more than 26 states across the country.

Obi can only become in third place in 2023.

This election can only be rigged if Labour Party has no reliable agents at the polling units. If they do, forget it. Rigging has no place in Nigerian election anymore.

It's even interesting that the new electoral law says that the election must not take place in PUs where the BVAS failed to work. Everything has been automated, bros.

The major deciders of this election are the states in the North Central because it's easy to predict who the rest of the regions are most likely to vote for.

Plus, being the major Christian in this race, Obi clearly has an edge over the rest of the three Muslims in Northern states with a reasonable Christian population who have been totally destroyed, raped and maimed by Fulani marauders and abandoned by the Nigerian state.

This was why Obi took his campaigns to Southern Kaduna, a region the Fulani militia, sponsored by the Nigerian state, have totally annihilated over the years. We saw the outpouring of emotions during the campaign.

But then, I see this election going into a runoff.

Exactly!!!
Religion will play a big role in this coming election.
Not that Obi is competent, many people (christians) just see it as a "Religion trophy" because they cannot allow another Muslim on the seat of power again.

Before it's nobody knows obi in the north to obi won't get 5,000 vote in the north now it's 100,000.

Madam, incumbency or not, Jonathan was massively supported in the South in 2011. That's a major factor that helped in his winning. The only disgruntled group are Buhari's supporters in the North.

Buhari was supported in the same manner especially by Southwesterners in 2015 and Obi is having a similar support down south presently.

The one thing that favours Obi in this election is that he is the only one with assured bloc votes. The SE and to a large extent the SS will vote en-masse for him.

None of his opponents can boast of same, Atiku can make such claims for the NW and NE but Kwankwaso and Tinubu seem to be making inroads against him in these zones.

The NC will always be swing zones and sadly for Tinubu the SW too.

Atiku is still favorite to win in my opinion and more so if the election ends in a runoff.
