Who is behind Tolaram?

I know that will be the question on people’s minds.

If FGN through NPA owns 5% only, this again has confirmed again that the handlers of our National treasury does not know how to negotiate.

Tolaram is Chinese. China engineering is Chinese. The LFTZ is the same Tolaram Chinese. The Free Trade Zone is pretty much the same as the compound of an embassy ... off limit to local law and order.... like a little Chinese Province in Nigeria. In short... the port and FTZ is in reality is like a private business owned and operated by the Chinese. They have that ontrol for 45 years ... then over to Nigeria to reap the benefits ... if any. A brilliant contract by the FG .... a welcomed development .... good for chest beating as we continue to invite foreigners to take over.

52.5 % to China means the Chin-chuns are properly in charge of their slaves who enjoy throwing off freedom for borrowed funds.

Them still get for remaining percentage o

The shareholding structure of the Port is as follows: The Lekki Port Investment Holding Inc. (international consortium) owns 75% (China Harbour Engineering Company Ltd 52.50%, Tolaram 22.5%), the Lagos State Government owns 20% while Nigerian Ports Authority owns 5%.

What kind of math is this? All the percentage put together is supposed to be 100% who wrote this na? This is the more you look the less you see😭😏

It's correct 52.50 + 22.50 = 75
=20
=5
Total. 100

Let's thank Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe that secured Nigeria's independence with other notable Nigerians.

Therefore we give Late Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe the credit for this new Lekki Port and all other things that had been happening in Nigeria for helping Nigeria get independence, because without Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe, Nigeria would have still remained in the hands of British colonial masters. God bless Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe for allowing Lagos state to enjoy numerous privileges in Nigeria.

Since una wan mad, lets all get mad together, ozu mmadu cheesy
Let's also thank azikiwe for refusing secession in our constitution when other leaders like awolowo and bello agreed to it,ur Zik was busy crying one Nigeria

It's actually 100%... 75% plus 20% plus 5% sums up to 100%... I think why you didn't see that is because they broke down the 75% into two companies that make up Lekki Port Investment Holding Inc.

You can't seriously be arguing that PPP is a negative? Whoever had the vision to construct it and the wisdom to do it via PPP deserves a huge round of applause irrespective of politics.

In case you're curious about TOLARAM, they are the international company of VASWANI. They also own DUFIL the company that produces Indomie, power oil, minimie chinchin and many other things. They've been in Nigeria for long. Na their name they mispronounced to be ANSWANI
Wow! 😲

Thanks.

They will now shedd their population weight to Nigeria, employ their people massively, operate with Chinese law, and use the Chinese police already in place. When it was noised that the FG was about to sell Lagos, and other key parts of the south to the Chinese, some people closed their faculty and busied themselves chanting 'emi lo kan'.

You'd better prepare for worse news to come.

Honestly, this is saddening and disheartening.

This is what happens when you don't pay attention in school and you end up coming out half baked to say "school is a scam" ! Anyway, read again and observe that the 75% is broken down as a consortium of two companies; China Harbour Engineering Company Ltd 52.50%, Tolaram 22.5%. Therefore, if you add 75 + 20 + 5 = 100% !

But the chinese built the port with a lot of the finances coming from there , so what else do you expect? Even in America, there are lots of big Chinese and other foreign investments. That's how to grow a nation.

Well said boss.
The report of 20% and 5% to the state and federal governments respectively may be a lie.
Moreover the Chinese and Indians having 75% may be a front for ThiefNuibu’s Alpha Beta SPV looting.
