Go and construct a port in Onitsha and hand everything over to the FGN

Is it that you are naturally daft? We are talking about a state and a federal parastatal being deliberately shortchanged and you are here throwing ethnic jabs.

Good or bad tinubu played a key role in today's developmental strides in Lagos.

Show us how leaders have transformed your states in the past 20 years.

I just returned from oba Anambra yesterday. Oba secondary school is hell on earth

If majority of you will stay in your region, we won't be talking about traffic and shortage of power supply.

In your villages, there is power supply almost 24hrs cos discos must evacuate their allocations but nobody is there to use it cos your villages are empty just harbalist who live in the forest and won't be needing electricity

You people can't even pay for the supply but you want to condemn tinubu at any given opportunity.

Am sure since you have it installed in your head that Lagos is no man's land, I think hope you can say that in calabar and Abuja too and someday make your funny looking ezes governors and oba of Lagos in these states.
Y was Lagos made a federal capital sef? I know it is because of ur bragging that the formal military govt relocated d capital to Abuja, n see the difference, n how Abuja has developed since.

Which Oba?? The worst place in Anambra state is still better than your slummy Ibadan.

Igbos own 70% of landed properties in Abuja, e pain you abi...we've never had any problem with our calabar brothers, we've been inter-marrying for ages.

Lagos was the former FCT, get that into your empty skull, Apart from lagos which other city in your lagos is half as developed as Benin city, Enugu, port Harcourt, Owerri, Uyo, Calabar, Asaba, Onitsha??

Go back to your papa village, if e sure for you

With this said by you,you will die a DANGEROUSLY VIOLENT IGNORAMUS the way you are going.

The Lekki Deep Sea Port outlay, plan and what we engineers call "recognizance" was put in place by the Tinubu led state government..

Go and Ask Dangote..his refinery was part of the plan of the Eko Atlantic Area which is also Tinubu's Brainchild..

Don't take my word for it;do your findings..

Nevertheless, you need God's mercy to have sense in this your life..

Your misyarning assumes frightening proportions how is Dangote refinery the plan for Eko Atlantic. How many Kilometers is Eko Atlantic from Dangote refinery? Ahhhh stop showing stupidity in high definition.

The shareholding structure of the Port is as follows: The Lekki Port Investment Holding Inc. (international consortium) owns 75% (China Harbour Engineering Company Ltd 52.50%, Tolaram 22.5%), the Lagos State Government owns 20% while Nigerian Ports Authority owns 5%.

What kind of math is this? All the percentage put together is supposed to be 100% who wrote this na? This is the more you look the less you see😭😏

You along with those that liked and shared ya post need to go back and re-learn English language. The total is exactly 100%

Did you go to school at all?

52.5% + 22.5% = 75% ——which is owned by the international consortium comprising of China Harbour Engineering Company Ltd 52.50%, Tolaram 22.5%)

20% —— is owned by the Lagos state government.

5% ——-is owned by the Nigeria port authority

Is it The federal govt money that was used to build the facility

Try and have sense. Even a 55:45 sharing ratio is a smart negotiation. They cannot try this in Egypt or Morocco(who has the largest deep sea port in Africa). This is why I say our leaders for their own selfish gain sell us short. If you dig deep into the 20% shareholding it will shock you that it is an SPV front that will not entirely be Lagos state but other entities.

read well before you make comment . don't you understand simple mathematics and English language ? The 75% has been put in bracket and explanation of 22.5% and 52.5% making it to be 75% has been added up. Then add 20% and 5% together will give you 25% .then add everything together ,it will give you 100% . lazy youth

Why are you like this? China owns more than 50% of the port and you are here jubilating. Mental slavery is the biggest problem of an average African man.

Basically a Chinese port in Nigeria

It's a 45 year concession actually, meaning they only retain those shares for 45 years (which of course is a long time) but the article doesn't mention it. I just did my research cos the ownership sounded too stupid to be accepted by any government...

Did tinubu build any bridge in his 8yrs as lagos governor?

Let's say both of our companies come together to form a company and we use that company to purchase 75% of Lekki port.

Out of that 75%, I own 52.5% while you, my junior partner own 22.5% grin. Add it up and it's 75%.
