2 years course , how much is the tuition , if the tuition is say 19k , you'll need to show how you'll still be making money while away subzheero: |

then you need to order your notes and look at the application carefully , was there any lump sum deposited ? did you properly prove how funds was accumulated ? invoice ? receipts ? business ? salary ? , it might have nothing to do with enough money , try and order your notes , trying paying a full year fees and do GIC subzheero: 2 Likes |

subzheero:I’m not a guru but what are all the documents you submitted? Maybe the reason for refusal would be evident to someone then? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by mrprolifik: 11:03pm On Jan 23, 2023 |
subzheero:. You also need to show your tax records , other documents to show how you made your money . Having a lot of money in your account is one thing but IRCC is also interested in how you were able to make the money and they want to see proofs to be convinced. If you also have assets like building or Land that can also stand as home ties that will be great. 2 Likes |

Hi guys, My passport isn’t valid for the duration of my 4-year course. Should I apply for a passport renewal before applying? How long will it take to get the renewed passport? How much will it cost? If I decide to apply with my current passport, i heard i can apply for a passport renewal from the Nigerian Consulate in Ottawa. Is my study permit valid until when my passport expires or to the end of my course? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Accessed: 11:12pm On Jan 23, 2023 |
Hello Gurus, So i am billed to pick up my renewed passport this week before sending for Visa. Please do i attach both the old passport and the new passport in the package when sending for Visa? Am i also expected to enclose some letter explaining why i have 2 passports as the passport I used in completing my application will expire before the completion of my program, hence the renewal. Or once they see the 2 passports, they will automatically know why i have 2 passports in it. My old passport is actually eligible till 2024 but wont cover the program duration, so i thought i should just renew so i wont be bothered about passport renewal and the remnant visa My application was done in Lagos, so will it be faster to do walk-in at the Lagos centre (Lekki), or just use courier services. Any cost implication to doing walk-in PP submission and collections? Please whats the average response time lately? I will appreciate your responses my bosses. |

blueberryacres: As far as i know, You cant get a visa that will be valid beyond the expiration of your passport. Hence, you could apply for renewal bearing in mind that your PPR is only valid for about 30 days. You will need to locate some remote places like in the North or the East where you can arrange a passport and be sure it will be ready in about 2 or 3 weeks. I also think some guys can link you with sure plugs in Lagos and Abuja where you can get priority and fast track passport arrangements at extra cost. You can also get your passport renewed in Canada but i hear the procedure is also hectic over there, hence the reason they all prefer to do it here before travelling. All the best with your decision. Lets wait for some more contributions from the gurus. 1 Like |

It’s PPR alert for my brother😁 New portal (1st time applicant for study visa) Bow Valley College for Sept 2023 Application submitted on Nov 25, 2022 Medical upfront done on Nov 21, 2022 Medical updated on Jan 18, 2023 (after sending about 10 webforms for medical review) Eligibility started on Jan 18, 2023 Approved on Jan 23, 2023 Paid full tuition (although it’s not necessary. Others paid less and got theirs approved). I wish everyone all the best. I visited Canada last year and it is definitely worth the stress. It’s a good country with lot of benefits. So, don’t give up yet😁 To answer few questions that I see here; - Yes, you can apply even when your resumption date is far. IRCC won’t delay your application for those resuming earlier, so go ahead and submit your application. - No, having a sibling in Canada doesn’t reduce your chance. I am the 4th child of 4. The other 3 are in Canada. Yes, I am single but I used my previous Canadian visitor visa as a tie. I got a visitor visa to visit them last year and I spent 3 weeks, and with a good sop, I guess I was able to convince the officer that I won’t overstay. - Yes, you can do it yourself. All the best everyone😁 You got this! 24 Likes |

Although IRCC stated 10K, 4K and 3K for living expenses for the principal applicant, first dependent and subsequent dependents, respectively, the actual cost could be more depending on the city. Now, 27M seems sufficient but can be insufficient for a self-sponsor depending on tuition fees, program duration, intended city of residence and family size. Review your application using the budgetary cost of rent and living expenses for the city you would be living. And don’t forget to add the school ancillary fees like tech fees, student association, health insurance etc., if they were not added to your tuition fees. Vos like to see that you have done your research and know your actual cost in Canada. An application can still be refused if the available funds barely cover the cost of your education, considering the ages of accompanying dependents, but the issue can be tackled with a well-written Sop. Cheer up and reapply. subzheero: 3 Likes |

subzheero:27 is alot. If I may ask! What is the inflow and outflow POF within the duration you submitted. And was it ‘MBS’? Because that will go a long way to prove your assets for a large family. For instance, Imagine 13m in an account that in the last 6months has not had even 5m. This could raise concerns. |

I have been the one transferring into her acct since March 2022 .Sometimes 650k weekly it depends and the highest l have transferred to her per week is 1m and 6 months MBS was printed Dec 15 so its a very busy acct blkomo: |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by blkomo: 7:46am On Jan 24, 2023 |
subzheero: Ok. Busy that’s good. But the inflow and outflow is it up to like 40-50m for the last 4-6 months before you submitted it. It is a very vital point to ascertain ones financial status. This information is key in assisting you with your re-application. Because 27m is more than sufficient for you and your accompanying family members. I am believing the inflow and outflow was the major course of concern. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by subzheero: 7:57am On Jan 24, 2023 |
I really appreciate Boss. The inflow can't be upto 40 to 50m l only save what l think should be enough for study permit which is 22m.The acct has more inflow than outflow .The only outflow from the acct was around June when l purchased a Toyota Camry so her acct was debited to pay the person .Also first semester tuition fee of 8516.76 was paid fron the account so her acct shouldn't have more than 5 outflows last year apart from bank charges my own personal which am transferring from should have up to that interms of inflow and outflow Please help me blkomo: |
