I also don't think Owerri is the most beautiful city after Abuja and Lagos, but i don't make my point in such a hateful and demeaning way! Can you tell us your own pick since you consider Owerri to be a 'glorified village'?

This is why i posit Calabar is the neatest and most scenic state capital in Nigeria. Watch to the end.

Owerri could easily beat this, as it has more beautiful buildings and is probably more commercially viable than Calabar. But for now, Calabar beats it for greenery (trees and well-manicure lawns), cleanliness (hardly any filth, dust, sand sediments and rubbish on the roads) and a much better road network (in some parts of Owerri, there are no roads at all despite the grand mansions).

If Enugu was this neat, it would even beat Oweri sef!

so in your imagination Owerri is crime free to pH, touts free to pH? Congested that is because it is business friendly and peaceful that is why you see people there. For instance Lagos. Polluted, what is the % of death rate in pH due to pollution? In conclusion, it is only a blind man that will compare Enugu, Owerri to pH in terms of beauty and development because pH is way too high above them, if only you have visited these cities, even calabar and uyo are far more beautiful than Enugu and Owerri

Owerri is beautiful and it's the most planned city in South East. The problem Owerri has is waste Management and good roads, though their current governor is trying in road construction but still has a lot to do. If Owerri has the kind of roads Enugu has ,Owerri will beat Enugu hands down because Owerri has better structures, aesthetics and buildings. New Owerri is most beautiful avenue in South East but general Owerri is still fine but waste management and roads are its major problem.
