Why Are Ibos More Obsessed With Lagos Than Any Other Nigerian Ethnic Group? by Nobody: 3:28pm On Jan 26, 2023 |
Ibos are more obsessed with Lagos than any other ethnic group in Nigeria including Yorubas. They are more obsessed with Lagos than Iboland and it's like without Lagos, Ibos can never survive. It also didn't started today, it has been like that since the 1940s when the first batch of Ibos arrived in Lagos en masse. Since then, their whole outlook has been able dominating the city and making it a satellite Ibo city in the heart of Yorubaland. Ibo political outlook has also always been about Lagos and that's why they have always collided politically with Yorubas. What about Lagos make Ibos go crazy or did the secret origin of Ibos start in Lagos? 1 Like |

Laziness and lack of creativity A Northerner goes into Agriculture and makes crop and livestock A Westerner goes to school or learns a skill like mechanic, plumbing etc The Ibo man simply want to buy foreign goods, and sell it to others for profit.. even if it's drugs, fake, contraband . 6 Likes |

You don't live in Lagos. Ibos are becoming less in Lagos. North are taking over but most are Upper North = bike rider/minor jobs Middle belt = house helps Why ibo is well noticeable is because of their economic contribution 1 Like 1 Share |

kettykin: Asaba is landlocked. You should be able to use Onne and Port Harcourt ports, what’s stopping? Why has any of your leaders deem it right to invest in building a cargo airport in your region? I don’t even think if they were to build seaports in every Ibo town it will stop Ibo obsession with Lagos. |
