I don't think it's something to be worried about cos i think it's same across board. Probably because it's trickle charging and tends to take time to get fully charged.

Reason you noticed it is because you're expecting the phone to be fully charged on time so you can make use of it since it's daytime unlike when you're asleep and unaware of how long it takes to get fully charged.

Just my opinion tho

I upgraded to iOS 16.3 recently can that be the issue?

Lol . I upgraded to iOS 16.2 on my 13 pro max , but noticed a lot of bugs so I went back to 15.6. After 16.3 came out few days ago and I saw the reviews I quickly upgraded to 16.3. Yesterday I noticed that my iPhone doesn't charge when switched off , it only charges when it's on. As I speak to you now I've downgraded once again to 15.6 and I don't think I would upgrade again till iOS 17 comes out or till I'm more than a 100% sure there are no bugs in any of the iOS 16's coming in the future.

my iphone 8 is having a weird problem, if i turn on my flashlight the power button and volume button will not work except i turn off the light... if the the backlight goes off when the flash is on, i will have to call the phone or the battery will die before i can do anything

Oga I have an se 2..the screen is an after market screen that I got when the original one broke. I am asking because I needed a follow come screen...unless you carry juju for mouth there's no way an icloud locked iPhone se 2 will go for 60k.

no, but the back glass is currently broken now... i bought it fairly used so i can't say if the previous owner did.

When it was at 100-95 it was about 5 to 6 hours on LTE. 8 hours on Wi-Fi. But now wey e dey close to 80% I struggle to get 4 hours screen on time on days that I am using it heavily.

Try booting into recovery mode. If it's steady, then it's software issue. Just go and flash it

While the phone is switched off, Press and continue to hold the Home button while you connect the USB cable to your iPhone, this will cause the iPhone to turn on.
Continue to hold the Home button until the iPhone is in recovery mode... Or the below screen displays
