The CEOS are closet politicians
No politician can successfully loot without active cooperation of bankers. I am not surprised.

Extension kill all of una there. Na the reason. Why una deliberately refused to pickup the new Naira notes and circulate am ?? I know say una done arrange tugs to protest if them nor extend the deadline. No extension.
During Covid APC claimed they shared billions of Naira to Nigerians within 2 days but now they cannot circulate the new Naira notes that have been available for months. Rubber stamped CEOs

From TVC

My question is;

Why is Tinubu against new money introduction?

Did he plan to use 5 bullion vans per state?

Two weeks extension is reasonable!
Don't be surprised if extension enter march

Because dropping off old notes that were stashed away is totally different from changing current active old notes in circulation to new notes

They are exchanging these new notes with bullion van cash owners instead of giving it to the public, CBN must not fall for their tricks. We don't want any extension.

I don’t support the extension. Some people are pushing for the extension because of the excess old mold money they hoarded to use in bribing the electorates. Buhari go shock una.

Who are the biggest shareholders and control of bank proxy owners if not politicians.

The Nigeria people will not extend the deadline beyond 14th of February. They should better sit up.
it will be extended more than a month
Re: New Naira Notes: CEOs Of Commercial Banks Back Extension Of Deadline by justmi1: 10:14am On Jan 27, 2023
Extending the deadline would mess up the whole idea. People have already started rejecting old currency and the process is almost complete. Now telling people to continue accepting old currency is like taking us back to when the announcement of swap took place. Any extension should have been announced like a week ago. It's late now.

.... And that's why they are hoarding the new naira notes for their beloved polithieviens.

There won't be any extension period!

We are tired of money politics

Why wasn't that foreseen way back and all preparations put in place, rather than the unnecessary rush now?

The funny thing is when you hear them talk during their meetings all the rep says is the common man the common nigerian when i reality they are fighting for their selfish gains. They have hidden money is a completely furnish 3 bedroom flats.. Ghana-must-go of cash. They know they need it for election if not people will vote their conscience. Politician in nigeria are very wicked. Very very very very wicked.!!!

I am very sure Adebanjo, Okupe and Obasanjo cannot escape. Any of them that escapes only transfer the judgment to their children.

A government where 5 days to the expiration of currency change, 90% of rural dwellers are yet to see the new notes. A government where the Minister of Finance briefed FEC that she was not briefed by CBN governor about Naira redesign and only got to know through media. A government where CBN governor escaped arrest by DSS and fled abroad and later converted it to Annual leave and overstayed because of DSS and Attorney General.

By January 31, 2023 if the CBN governor or the President extend the deadline for currency swap then they are bunch of cowards and failure. Only fools reason like mad men.

Tinubu is a very intelligent and courageous man. We stand by him and we are proud of him

So, they can use their stolen wealth to buy people's vote. Criminals, even the commercial banks are aiding them. Emeifele/Buhari should not listen to them. If their must extension let it be after elections.
