What are you criminals extending self?? Are you extending the deadline to enable you deposit your old notes or what exactly? Today marks the 95th day that CBN told you criminals to deposit your old notes. What else do you want? 2 Likes 1 Share |

They and the HoA can put heads together, but they can't decide for the CBN and the president. 3months is more than enough for everybody to take their money to the banks. In any case, they still have today, Monday and Tuesday to do so. 1 Like |

Nemere2020: It is obvious, it is why they don’t want to collect and distribute the new notes, they might be receiving kick backs from hoarders of the old notes hence they need more time to receive more old notes/kick backs from our polithievcians 1 Like |

Validated: Best option is for government to arrest these thieving bank executives, detain them until the election they want sold to their clients, the highest bidders, is concluded. Nobody can be watched to scuttle the objective of the currency redesign. 1 Like |

Some banks in my area were not dispensing cash yesterday as they claim they don't have the new notes. The question is, has CBN distributed enough notes to aid easy compliance with their proposed deadline? 2 Likes |

Heathrow44: If they extend it they are very shameless and cowards. Tinubu is a great man and and a great thinker. Great men have purposes, others only have wishes. A government of no coordination. A government where 5 days to the expiration of currency change, 90% of rural dwellers are yet to see the new notes. A government where the Minister of Finance briefed FEC that she was not briefed by CBN governor about Naira redesign and only got to know through media. A government where CBN governor escaped arrest by DSS and fled abroad and later converted it to Annual leave and overstayed because of DSS and Attorney General. By January 31, 2023 if the CBN governor or the President extend the deadline for currency swap then they are bunch of cowards and failure. Only fools reason like mad men. Tinubu is a very intelligent and courageous man. We stand by him and we are proud of him 2 Likes |

All of you people shouting no extension, I hope you are aware that here in Lagos yesterday, ATMs haven't been dispensing cash because the banks don't have new notes. I'm presently at GTB Town Planning Way now...the ATM hall is like Idumota market...ATMs aren't dispensing and you can't withdraw from inside the bank. I hope all of you supporting the deadline and Emefiele can live without cash till after February 25th. SMH! 3 Likes

baralatie: If CBN delayed based on limited prints or whatever, it doesn't affect lodgement of money in the bank. The value of the money is the same once its paid into the owners account. 1 Like |
