I know you already acquired a skill, otherwise you wouldn't have been able to train yourself, besides at 40, you're probably married and independent.

But I'm saying, what's the point of still going to School? your skill will likely still pay you more than any job you can get with that certificate in Nigeria. Most jobs for Nigeria nor de pay pass 150k.

If it's about being a literate, anyone who finished Secondary School can perfectly read and speak good English. You shouldn't have bothered with higher institution abeg.
I'm tempted to insult you but I guess you are a kid. You will grow up one day but for now, continue sucking breast

[quote author=Toktee post=120411281]Born and raised by parents that sees education as total waste of time.
From primary to secondary school no one was there for me but God.
I dropped out of secondary school six times because of money.
I also dropped out of college of education once, but later graduate.

If an orphan like me can do it, you can do it.
Never give up on your dreams. Congrats]

Go back and Read it well
He said they didn't even care about Secondary school education!
That's how bad it is....

Of course, we all know that formal education or certificate is not the key to Success...

Congratulations
I remember a quote from the movie the curious case of Benjamin button

.:

For what it's worth: it's never too late or, in my case, too early to be whoever you want to be. There's no time limit, stop whenever you want. You can change or stay the same, there are no rules to this thing. We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. And I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you never felt before. I hope you meet people with a different point of view. I hope you live a life you're proud of. If you find that you're not, I hope you have the strength to start all over again.

Nice one

Let's look at it like this bro

You left secondary school at 15 and went to serve a master in business, you spent 7yrs or at most 10yrs,you finish at 25yrs, you are settled and started your own business at 25yrs, you are diligent, humble and prayerful, you do business for 10yrs or 5yrs, at at 30 or 35,you start processing polytechnic or any university of your choice for part time studies( Saturdays and sundays or weekdays,4pm) you spend 5yrs and graduate... at age 35 or 40,you have a certificate and your own business

Win win for you

But all the same, thank God you graduate, pray to God for success in the labour market cus it's not easy and your age with little or no experience get as e be

But mercy speaketh for thee brother

Good luck

Congrats bruv. So happy for you at persevering despite all the obstacles you faced but you kept trudging on. Congrats once again. This should serve as inspiration to those lazy bones who threw in the towel at the face of life challenges.

You're God's favourite. I celebrate the Grace of wholeness and completion. The power, not just to begin, but finish Strong.

Congratulations brother. You have inspired others who may be having challenges with their education not to give up. That's what life is all about. A lot of young people easily give up just cos some things didn't happen as at when expected, some even commit suicide for meagre things like exam failure, debts etc, whereas life is all about overcoming challenges & obstacles.

I pray that God gives you an opportunity to apply your knowledge and qualification to something worthwhile.

Cheers 🍾🍾πŸ₯‚πŸ₯‚
God bless you for these words of wisdom!
