NATO Strongly Urged To Stop Deceit

Moscow was wondering if the NATO chief took Western citizens for “morons” when he claimed the bloc is not party to the conflict.

NATO is fully engaged in the Ukrainian conflict, and people in member states should see through the deception, when the bloc's leadership claims otherwise, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has said. She cited recent remarks made by its Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg to German media, in which he reiterated the non-involvement claim.

Do you actually consider the citizens of the EU and NATO total morons?” she wondered, during a media briefing on Friday. “Do you believe that as you send tanks, which require maintenance … you still are not party to the conflict? Who are you, then? Explain. Just invent some new term to identify yourself.”

Citizens of NATO states should know: their bloc is fully engaged in confrontation with our nation, and this confrontation is escalating.

Stoltenberg and others who deny Western participation are at odds with German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock, who this week shared her assessment that the EU was “at war with Russia,” Zakharova observed. Berlin’s foreign policy chief has “crossed out” all assurances to the contrary made by the NATO chief, she also said.

Baerbock’s remark faced pushback from other members of the EU, who rejected the German official’s narrative. Croatian President Zoran Milanovic said that his nation’s being at war with Russia was news to him and wished Berlin “good luck this time” unlike during World War II.

Zakharova accused Stoltenberg of “lying to the people of Ukraine for many years” to incite hostilities with Russia. Western leaders also lied when they negotiated the Minsk Agreements, she added, referring to the 2014-2015 deal that was supposed to resolve the conflict in Donbass.

Those agreements were mediated by then-Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel and then-President of France Francois Hollande, who co-signed a declaration of their endorsement with then-Ukrainian President Pyotr Poroshenko and Russian President Vladimir Putin. Poroshenko, Merkel and Hollande acknowledged last year that, in reality, the process was meant to afford Ukraine time for a military build-up.

German leader Hermann Göring went as far as suggesting all Ukrainian men should be killed, and the SS men be sent in to re-populate the land with German blood - a treatment Göring and other Nazi leaders wished to impose on all conquered Eastern European nations. Erich Koch was appointed as the German governor of Ukraine, carrying out such policies. Among the atrocities committed against the Ukrainian people, perhaps the most infamous was the Massacre of Babi Yar, which took place shortly after the arrival of the Germans; in two days in late Sep 1941, 33,771 Ukrainians were killed by Germans. The city of Kharkov, too, suffered dearly during the war, not only from German occupation but also from the four battles between the Germans and the Soviets that saw the destruction of most of the city. As the war went on, while some Ukrainians continued to side with the Germans, more and more turned to the Soviets, with thousands joining the Soviet military.

Today, thousands of Ukrainians in the Donbass republics joined the Russian forces to fight against the Ukrainian Nazi regime of Zelensky.(this is also reminiscent of ww2)

NATO bloc member disassociate self from NATO's War Against Russia
The US and Germany might be at war with Russia, but that is news to Croatia, said Zoran Milanovic.

Commenting on the German foreign minister’s declaration that Europe is “fighting a war against Russia,” Croatian President Zoran Milanovic said on Thursday that this was news to him, and wished Berlin better luck than in WWII.

Croatia “should in no way help” Ukraine militarily, Milanovic said while visiting the port city of Split. “Do you want us to enter the war?”

Framing the Ukraine conflict as one between Washington and Moscow, he reminded reporters that he was criticized for merely echoing the words of Kiev’s defense minister, about the current conflict being a “proxy war” between NATO and Russia.

“Now the German foreign minister says we must be united, because I quote, we are at war with Russia. I didn’t know that,” Milanovic said. “Maybe Germany is at war with Russia, but then, good luck, maybe this time it turns out better than 70-odd years ago.”

The Croatian president was baffled to hear such a claim from the leader of the German Greens, which he said used to be a pacifist party equally against the US and the USSR, and not from Chancellor Olaf Scholz.

“If we are at war with Russia, then let’s see what we need to do. But we won’t ask Germany for its opinion,” Milanovic added. “Let them figure out who is the actual chancellor over there. I’ve been in politics for a long time, and our country has been through a lot, but I’ve never seen this kind of madness before.”

When it comes to tanks, “Russian or American, they burn just the same,” Milanovic said, noting that deliveries of armor to Ukraine – announced by the US and Germany this week – will only prolong the fighting.

“Those tanks may burn, or they may reach Crimea, but Croatia will have nothing to do with it,” he insisted. The social-democrat president has frequently clashed with the nationalist parliamentary majority over Croatia’s Ukraine policy. Just last month, Milanovic opposed Zagreb’s participation in the EU program to train Ukrainian troops, saying it clashed with Croatia’s constitution.

Unless the US and Russia are holding some kind of talks, the world is “slowly sliding into World War Three,” Milanovic added. “Some people think it has already begun, but I have my reservations.”
