I still do not understand why some people are so insistent upon cash. It's such a stupid mindset.
Cash is cumbersome.

Cash remains the most trusted form of financial transaction in this dubious country. Some people would receive a credit and lie that they didn't get it. You find yourself stuck in one place waiting for them to acknowledge receipt.

Have you not seen people visiting banks for over a month just to resolve a failed online transaction? Go to banking halls from Monday through Friday, you will find them filling forms upon forms to no avail.

The old currency is already useless. With what people are currently passing through, if there is an extension, people will hardly accept the old currency again as medium of exchange. The extension can only be for the owners to go and deposit it in the bank nothing more.
