Segedinho: You guys need that protest. Make una block everywhere, cook, eat, sleep and remain there till the price goes down. That was what people did sometime ago in PH but politicians came to deceive them and they eventually left. We are buying 290 here, no justification for you guys paying that much. |

Imagine having 2.7 trillion out of 3.23 trillion held permanently by people out of the banking system; yet we wonder how terrorism is being financed 😳 No wonder there’s been rise in terrorism acts since 2015 Buhari’s administration came on board . 1 Like 1 Share

BlueRayDick: Was there a time when Buhari basically instructed CBN to print more money? I think so but I can't recall. |

Elder0001: At the bolded, how much will your mum and Dad request compare to amount needed to prosecute elections? your mum and Dad can find "short corner" to get the money because the amount they will request isn't big enough to amount politicians need. The new money isn't yet circulated because CBN are monitoring and regulating amount pushed to the public. There is no politician that can get enough because amount pushed out won't be enough for that we are talking about trillions of naira here. Let me paint the picture well for you, the CBN might print 2 trillion of the cash and send 500 billion to the bank, bank has other obligations than giving the whole money to one politician, they push some to the branches, push some to ATM and even reserve some to meet customers obligation thereby won't have enough "FOR POLITICIANS THAT WANTS TO DRAW TRILLIONS FOR ELECTION PURPOSE" this is just the simple scenerio. Nobody is saying the politicians won't have the money but they will not have enough to send to polling units and foot soldiers to use it in thwarting or inducing voters unless transfer and that will be almost impossible. These things have been considered before coming to implement the policy, anyone telling you politicians have enough is just lying. 6 Likes 3 Shares |

Agadinaagwuofe: If the thing no touch politicians u won’t see someone like Ganduje subtly threatening the president telling him they can’t guarantee his safety in Kano when he comes for commissioning for project . People like Ganduje need money to prosecute the forthcoming elections and getting the new notes in large quantity is almost impossible . Although with time Nigerian politicians may likey find a way around it, but for now the whole thing has distabilize them. 5 Likes |

BlueRayDick: Exactly if the policy didn't affect them you won't hear their complaints, it actually destabilize them. I don't think they will find a way around this unless they try other method that won't involve inducing the electorates but I can tell you categorically when money is take away from election many foot soldiers that would have stake their lives will withdraw, I mean most people supporting candidates and putting efforts is because they have hope during election they will benefit from the disbursements. I think Buhari drew a clue from what happened during APC primaries and wasn't happy how his plans were thwarted using money to sabotaged his plans and arm twist the electorates from states and swore within himself hat he won't allow such to happen again. The way he took the issue of this inducement of electorate matter eh! you go know say wetin happen for APC primary pain am reach e bone marrow 4 Likes 1 Share |

Agadinaagwuofe: But it’s hypocritical on the path of Buhari sha cos he’s a beneficiary of the system he’s now going against . I was in the north during the 2015 elections and I can confirm both APC and PDP induced people with money during that election that brought him to power . I wonder where he thought his party men got all the cash that was used to secure his victory sha . |

BlueRayDick: it gose way beyond that - had tinubu had not maintained party discipline and cohesion and countered atikus dollar rain buharis journey would have ended at the 2014 apc primaries. 1 Like |

Elder0001:The plan of CBN is to get the cash in the bank and hence they only released few of the new notes in circulation. CBN knows how much of the new notes is in circulation and they also know the banks that have them. There's no way politicians can circumvent the process unless there is complicity with the same CBN 1 Like 1 Share |

OasisX: And be paying charges abi? Most of her customers will buy below 1000 naira. How much is she earning from the groundnut Maybe she will add the charges to the cost of the groundnut which will beg another question. Why will people buy from her and not others who sell cheaper? I also once tried getting a POS machine for a personal business and there was a challenge I couldn't overcome. Unfortunately I can't remember what the challenge was. 3 Likes |

New filling stations are springing up on a daily basis in PH. Election money or just rich people trying to taking advantage of the scarcity and fuel hike? |
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by GloriousGbola: 6:11pm On Jan 29, 2023 |
Donjazet2: Obidients repeatedly show what can best be called binary thinking. Black and white. No nuance. Which is why Every other day we get bs from you about Saint obi and the so called fight against good and evil. So it is understandable if you are only able to see people as one dimensional cartoon villains. It is also understandable since you are tying your coat tails to a different kind of serial betrayer that you are unable to understand the basic principle of paying back loyalty and support. You are also unable to think very far - if your hero Peter obi unceremoniously dumped APGA, what makes you think he will not also unceremoniously dump the youths supporting him? You should be reading the parallels between Buhari and Peter obi, but like I said you are only capable of binary thought, not complex reflection. Now run off and find some old posts of raumdeuter to spam this thread with. We need you to tell us the guy is an evil cartoon villain. 10 Likes 3 Shares |

Itsrm: It is everywhere. Also in lagos. Poor regulation by dpr means you can quickly hammer, especially if you are an independent. Build a station at a fraction of the cost of the majors (by ignoring all safety standards) rig your pumps to 1 litre and you are good to go. 1 Like 1 Share |

GloriousGbola: I was once at a gas station a friend was building. He invited government officials (not sure if it was DPR) for inspection and I saw him giving them fat envelops when the "inspection" was over. Of course the "inspection" was a success. That I believe is the same thing that happens with filling stations. It does seem to me that the best government agencies to work are those in charge of regulation. NERC, CBN, DPR and several others. |

I know some of us will remember the wole woles of the 90s. They still exist in the ministry of health and environment. Just that what they do now is go to companies, collect envelops and move on As far as corruption goes, safe to say that this country is irredeemable. 1 Like |

GloriousGbola: Don't you notice that he has been like a fish out of water since he was scolded for the screenshots, he has no content. All the Obidients have been commenting on all topics daily but him the moment those screenshots lost its intended purpose nothing again The irony is that same guy you quoted was also selling Buhari just like Tinubu did But we should celebrate him and hang Tinubu when both sold Buhari passionately 4 Likes |
