But it’s hypocritical on the path of Buhari sha cos he’s a beneficiary of the system he’s now going against . I was in the north during the 2015 elections and I can confirm both APC and PDP induced people with money during that election that brought him to power . I wonder where he thought his party men got all the cash that was used to secure his victory sha .

The plan of CBN is to get the cash in the bank and hence they only released few of the new notes in circulation. CBN knows how much of the new notes is in circulation and they also know the banks that have them.

There's no way politicians can circumvent the process unless there is complicity with the same CBN

It is everywhere. Also in lagos. Poor regulation by dpr means you can quickly hammer, especially if you are an independent. Build a station at a fraction of the cost of the majors (by ignoring all safety standards) rig your pumps to 1 litre and you are good to go.

I was once at a gas station a friend was building. He invited government officials (not sure if it was DPR) for inspection and I saw him giving them fat envelops when the "inspection" was over.

Of course the "inspection" was a success. That I believe is the same thing that happens with filling stations.

It does seem to me that the best government agencies to work are those in charge of regulation. NERC, CBN, DPR and several others.

I know some of us will remember the wole woles of the 90s. They still exist in the ministry of health and environment. Just that what they do now is go to companies, collect envelops and move on
