136 games in the EPL and a mere 26 goals, your cannot get away from that.

Why do you think nobody is interested in KC in this January transfer window, is it because He is too good ❓

STOP changing and misrepresentating my position, I didn't talk about cameo appearances.

You've moved your position from oh he doesn't get enough starts to cameo appearances, you makes excuses for what's not inexcusable.

Deep down you know goal per game stats is rubbish when compared to goals per minute on the pitch. But continue afterall it's you. grin

I know we have a lethal strike force but we should look to cap-tie Folarin Balogun to add to our depth, AFCON is coming up and we have to prove a point by winning the tournament.

If Nff miss it twice with afcon looming, they should just goan hide, pack up and cease to exist. You can't miss WC and then have another bad afcon outing back to back. The resources available should be enough motivation to start planning for even the smallest of hindrances like bonuses and the likes. Put these guys on premium subscription for good feeling.

This was later in the game after Osimhen scored that Worldie.

We already have a midfield generation of:-
Alhassan Yusuf (effectively Ndidi's replacement)
Raphael Onyedika
Eberechi Eze
Michael Olise
Lesley Ugochukwu
Chukwuemeka (though this one will be harder cause he's deep within the English youth
system).

And then permanently retire deadweights like Etebo,Bonke etc from the team..keep only Iwobi and maybe Aribo, Ndidi is still quality but he's too injury prone and we can't rely on him everytime so he needs competition

And then we can try converting some of our wingers into attacking mids, players like Lookman, Chukwueze, Chuba Akpom and Nathan Tella have all played off the shoulders of main strikers upfront as support strikers/ false 9s, we can try such set up in the national team.

Man, u need to stop using this argument already.

A premier league club struggling to beat a lower league club does not necessarily mean the level of competition in the lower league is high, for one, remember the premier league teams often present very weakened side in such circumstances.

Again, this happens every where and all the time where teams from lower divisions upset teams in the elite division.

In Nigeria for example, during the state FA playoffs, even non league teams have always defeated mighty NPFL clubs.

Eyimba and Akwa united have been victims of this in recent times.

When you present an argument it has more weight if it's balanced βš–οΈ with facts and objectivity. You have made an assumption ( see the bold)

What is at stake pride and shame or victory and defeat. For the lower great pride and victory and achievement to beat a EPL team , the lower team is highly motivated to win. They will fight to the end.

For the EPL team the shame of defeat and the depression of loosing to a lower team. This motivates the EPL team to win , in addition players who are not first choice regulars, see it as an opportunity to prove they have the Quality to be first choice.

Players like KC who are not first choice it's an opportunity to score emphatic quality goals against lower level opposition.

In both cases all teams are highly motivated. For individual players it's a chance to show case their talents and get a huge big money transfer to a better team.

For example DJed Spence from Nottingham forest (loan) was a Middlesbrough player transfer fee of Β£20 million to Tottenham. His wages probably increase 20 time's what he previous was getting.

So you can see your assertion is wrong these games are hotly contested.

Manchester United fielded a full strength team not even any academy boys, see screenshot below. So you are completely wrong.

Football is not mathematics.

There is no probability theory that if you play more minutes you will score more goals.

Your performances earn you game time, the less you perform the less you play.

You don't seem to understand that.

Ademola was not given automatic game time he had to prove himself. He had same number of games as K.C. but scored 6 goals from the wing and earning MOTM against Liverpool. After KC was substituted he scored within 3 minutes a solo goal.

The issue with liverpool is not poor run of form but end of an era

They need to rebuild seriously most especially in the midfield

The weakest link is Harvey Elliott, but Klopp gets all emotional about him.

Harvey can't tackle, has zero pace, no physicality, has no aerial ability ( shortee) and doesn't back track.

I think there is some unconscious bias in Liverpool to be dilpmatic, James Belaghezi is much much better and can do the requirements of a box to box midfielder.

But he is not even invited to the first team.

Jamie Vardy started 11 games and scored one. Yet he remained the ideal choice. Let Iheanacho start a game and not score, Rodgers will kick him out of squad list for months.

That's not true you are giving a false narrative.

Comparing Vardy to KC is an insult to intelligence.

Paul Onuachu scores a brace and we subbed out on 63mins.

16 league goals now for the Big Striker in 14 starts (19 league games).

Yira Sor subbed in on 70mins.

Forget it but we really don't get to speak about Paul's physique for a footballer. Mhen that guy is tall and massive for an outfield player. How many active players are taller than him

NFF should go all out to get Oliseh and Eze at all costs. You can't get your Attackers firing week in week out without solid midfielders behind them at international matches.

Trio of Ademola, Osimhen Chuks are ready to cook. They definitely need Oliseh and Eze serving them right ingredients while Ndidi is butchering Meats and slicing Vegetables.

How do you then expect them to be the best in the world when they continuously play with fear and intimidation? We need to cut them some slack and support them more! Gracias!
Marjoribanks:
If Chukweze is the one missing 1v1s like Vinicious Jr is doing right now, I am certain that he will definitely not start the next match. African players are expected to be 100% each game while Brazilians or Argentines often get a pass!

Olise and Eze are not better than what we have. They are even more lazy!
Olise has not more than 3 assists and plays more often from the wing.
We do not really need them!

Maybe and maybe not. You should know what it's like when you get signed up to play in the same position as your new clubs God! You wouldn't have said that about Osimhen 2 years ago would you?

Your performances earn you game time, the less you perform the less you play.
True most times but there are exceptions and again I'm sure you know this. I'm not going to bother expanding that point.

Lorient has recieved a bid for Moffi either from Newcastle or PSG.
They are playing games with Nice. Nice went for another negotiation today.
This is becoming like Sadiq Umar.
Villareal was dragging their leg to pay the amount Almeria asked then suddenly Sevilla put in a bid that met the evaluation after his wonderful performance against them.
Shockingly Sociedad came from nowhere to bid above his evaluation and take the player.

Moffi might be going to PSG or Newcastle afterall or even stay at Lorient till season end!

Many Leicester City fans admit Vardy is past it. Bringing his history is comical because Vardy is never coming close to performing at that level again.
