Football is not mathematics.

There is no probability theory that if you play more minutes you will score more goals.

Give V.O. 136 games over 6 season by the 3rd season he would have retired Vardy completely.Do you disagree ❓

Your performances earn you game time, the less you perform the less you play.

You don't seem to understand that.

Ademola was not given automatic game time he had to prove himself. He had same number of games as K.C. but scored 6 goals from the wing and earning MOTM against Liverpool. After KC was substituted he scored within 3 minutes a solo goal.

The thing is your track record here ideally shouldn't give you the moral right to compare Osimhen with anyone...

When this Osimhen was at Wolfsburg getting sub in to get 3, 4, 5minute cameos, you said he was no good and wouldn't make the academy of championship teams, if he was any good, he would get game time at " lowly Wolfsburg"

He went to Chaleroi got to start a run of games and today the rest is history .

Baba I when you look yourself in the mirror, what do you see?

Can you stop telling a false narrative and jumping on a false train.

Go back and look at my comments in full not just the bits that suit your false narrative.

And don't forget the phrase AT THAT TIME.

It's easier to use a person that many worship here as the world standard for football strikers.

But you still will not accept that KC is where is because he is simply not good enough, it's not a crime. After six seasons at Leicester what more is there to say.

Similar narrative with NWAKALI making never ending excuses for that which cannot be excused.

We already have a midfield generation of:-
Alhassan Yusuf (effectively Ndidi's replacement)
Raphael Onyedika
Eberechi Eze
Michael Olise
Lesley Ugochukwu
Chukwuemeka (though this one will be harder cause he's deep within the English youth
system).

And then permanently retire deadweights like Etebo,Bonke etc from the team..keep only Iwobi and maybe Aribo, Ndidi is still quality but he's too injury prone and we can't rely on him everytime so he needs competition

And then we can try converting some of our wingers into attacking mids, players like Lookman, Chukwueze, Chuba Akpom and Nathan Tella have all played off the shoulders of main strikers upfront as support strikers/ false 9s, we can try such set up in the national team.

loll, you guys are calling names of players that have not yet committed their future to the Super Eagles, dribbling us like ball

I don't know when we will start to develop our football in Naija so that we won't become the second choice of some European born players

If England declares even the slightest interest in some of them, even if it's to chop bench, they will jump at it without hesitation

I am not eager to see any of them in the GWG. In my mind sef, I see them as England players

The Great Jose Mourinho on Victor Osimhen

Commends Osimhen, talks him up so highly but it would be unlike him not to add a little knock 🤣🤣🤣

"He is of the same level as Drogba, but Didier didn't dive. If Victor changes, then OK. I'd buy him if I was at a club with a lot of money. However, if he does go to England one day, he needs to change, because in Italy they put up with this sort of behaviour...whereas in the Premier League, they'd come down hard on him. I told him that he scored a wonderful goal and needs to stop diving so much. His goal was fantastic, he did the same thing when we met earlier this season, so he's a fantastic player. But he mustn't dive."

Terem Moffi Transfer saga update: Nice sends in 7th offer of 30Million Euros, bonuses included, details being discussed

This is finally up to the 30M valuation Lorient put on Moffi.

The final details are now being negotiated, with issues such as bonus percentages and sell-on fees being currently discussed.

Moffi was also reportedly absent from Lorient training this Monday morning.

Looks like the longest Transfer Saga of Ligue 1 this window could finally come to an end... Unless... ??

Joao Cancelo who shone in Pep's system last season and was clearly one of your most outstanding players is leaving Man City (and headed to Bayern).

Pep have no need for him anymore with Ake/Gomez on the left and Lewis/Walker on the right. Looks like Cancelo's more attacking/less defensive profile isn't needed anymore at City as Pep has found the profiles that require his current playing structure/approach to stay in shape both in offensive and defensive transitions. That's just me in summary by the way.

Would love to hear your take though, as it is your team. 😉

P.S: I still very much think Cancelo is a good Fullback who offers a unique profile and can stay effective in a system where he is allowed to venture offensively, contributing heavily to the 2nd and 3rd phases of play but would need the system to buffer for his defensive lapse.

Osimhen is a winner. His star is too strong. He's going strong and he's destined to be a great player.

I was one of those who were skeptical about his move from Lille to Napoli, mainly because of the man - Gattuso at the helm then, otherwise I never had any doubts as regards his talent after his outside-18 shot that resulted to a goal against Mali at the finals in 2015.

Osimhen of 2023 is different of previous years. His weak foot accuracy alone has greatly improved.

Feisty game from Osimhen. Insane work rate.

Needs to work on his:

FIRST TOUCH/BALL CONTROL.

Staying on his feet. Defenders like strikers who go down easily, while referees tend to stereotype them.

Movement. This is the most important. Napoli really bossed this game, but Osimhen made the mistake of camping in Juventus' penalty box.

Once in a while...

What exactly is Everton hoping to achieve? What are their goals?

What are their short term and long term plans? What are they aiming to win in the next 5 years? 10 years? They seem like an aimless club that's just happy to hang in the EPL.

That club has no direction jare.. I thought they were unto something when they appointed Ancelloti and got James Rodriguez...
I don't think Iwobi has signed the contract extension yet... Maybe he shouldn't...

Since his u-17 days, I've always believed in him but he's now surpassing my belief. If only we have a good midfield, defense and goalkeeper.

Our attack is good for now but we are wobbly from the middle down. My fear is that if we don't get the balance now, later on, we might have a good defense or midfield but poor attack.

A good team is sweet through and through. All the right elements blending to create a perfect team.
