globemoney01: Actually, Ziks Avenue's dualization plan started with Dr. Emeka Ezeife's regime, but he was removed from office shortly after. It took Ngige to come into the office before the groundbreaking of the project commenced. Ngige, Obi, and Obiano contributed in various ways to developing the current Anambra road network. However, I totally agree that Gov. Obiano did the boldest projects that broke the jinx of Anambra being a quasi-urban state. Today, nobody is in doubt that Anambra is a truly urban state. That can host the largest conferences in Africa, and with enough hotels and other urban logistics on its territory to successfully pull it off. I hope Gov. Soludo will work out a strong homegrown maintenance system to ensure the state roads are not allowed to all breakdown and therefore impossible to rebuild from the scratch. This is a key priority now. Else all the gains made under Ngige, Obi and Obiano to link up the state with tarred roads would ultimately go to waste. Most importantly, Governor Soludo should develop the concept of the developmental nucleus with the 6 major cities in Anambra as the nucleus of each. Perhaps, the state House of Assembly should declare these cities as developmental nodes to accord them special status. Where construction permits are required. Just as we currently practice in Awka. The absence of laws made Anambra cities develop organically and haphazardly. Which has led some to refer to them as urban slums. We must not allow the mistakes of the past to repeat again by allowing our cities to develop without a master plan. Thus the need to recognize these key cities now and carefully develop a master plan for their evolution as habitable urban centers. 1. Onitsha 2. Awka 3. Nnewi 4. Ekwulobia 5. Aguleri 6. Ihiala These strategically placed cities as true urban centers will attract high-end individuals to set up factories, modern markets, and housing areas in them. So each nucleus will drive the sustainable development of the suburban towns around them. In that way, the entire state will develop purposefully. 5 Likes 1 Share

Jcoleworld911: You people prattle on and on about IPOB ‘criminality’ but have NOTHING to support your lies besides social-media gossip, conjecture, beer parlour talk and the lying words coming from the Fulani controlled Nigerian army/police! Your criminal Nigerian army went out in the cold light of day to murder policemen in their bid to free a Fulani terrorist (Wadume); they have been implicated in the attacking of settlements in the core north and middle-belt that are predominantly Christian; no less a person than TY Danjuma has called them out for colluding with terrorists; it’s known that the evil Nigerian army has taken in ‘repentant’ terrorists; you ‘loving and just’ Nigerian army attended the Endsars protest at the tollgate a few years back….murdered a few innocent NIGERIAN youths, and denied everything without even batting an eyelid; etc! This is the flawed and bigoted nature of the Nigerian security bodies and you want us to take their word as gospel!? Any Igbo you care to ask (and i don’t mean naive ones like you…that’s if you are Igbo) will readily tell you this present Buhari junta is the most anti-Igbo government EVER, and one of the manifestations of the hatred Buhari and his hegemonic ilk have for Ndigbo shows in their TOTAL absence in the command of ALL military and paramilitary bodies, as well as security bodies like the DSS and ministry of defence….does anyone really expect such a setup to care and speak up for Igbo interests!? I have always conceded that some Igbo elements may have been involved in the attacks on police personnel and formations, and this was the obvious fallout of the many years of state sanctioned murder that went on in the south-east which the rest of Nigeria either IGNORED or treated with levity! It’s also possible some of those attacks were false-flag operations…part of the wider plan to try and implicate IPOB as ‘terrorists’! I do not support extra-judicial murder in any shape or form, but if you push a people to the wall…murdering them in cold blood and implying they can do nothing, eventually the siblings of those murdered will damn the consequences and fight back! None of us knows how we’ll react if our brother, sister, cousin or child is a victim of state-sanctioned murder (God forbid), but i can assure you the reaction will not be rational…especially when you’re being laughed at and mocked on social-media for your loss! In any case, the key thing to bear in mind is that IPOB didn’t sanction or send anyone to go kill any Nigerian security personnel! The only time IPOB were involved in any fight with Nigerian security forces was when the evil Fulani army came for them thinking it was business as usual and still open season for killing ‘nyamiris’! This started in Imo….Orlu to be precise, and i think IPOB also went to assist in Obigbo when the pogrom-loving Fulani army of Nigeria were carrying out a similar killing spree there! In both cases, the army showed up to ‘help’ their criminal herdsmen/terrorist cousins engaged in a fight with Igbos’! This is the same useless army that NEVER bothered showing up when Uzo-Uwani and Nimbo were attacked and when there was a prison break and a staccato of shots heard at Owerri that lasted for nearly an hour! You talk of withdrawing your support for IPOB when they formed ESN, but omitted to mention what led to its formation and how the useless federal and state gov’ts in the south-east were either unwilling or unable to put a stop to all the attacks in the south-east by Fulani herdsmen/militia/terrorists! Keep your useless ‘support’….no one needs it! Uche Mefor is a embittered fool who was in it for what he could get out of it! IPOB is better off without him! Since he left, the challenges and problems confronting Ndigbo for which IPOB was formed still persist, yet he has gone quiet….most likely he’s been bought by the evil hegemony! If you’re observant you’d have noticed ALL these idiots purporting to be IPOB factions and who claim to speak for IPOB (the ekpa dolt, DOS, chinyere abi na chinasa nworu, autopilots, etc)….ALL of them were formed after Mazi Kanu was kidnapped from Kenya! They are all creations of the Fulani-controlled Nigerian state and they doing exactly what they were formed to do….create a sense of insecurity in the south-east to try and turn the hearts and minds of Ndigbo and the int’l community against IPOB and make it look like the organisation are ‘unreasonable terrorists’! You can now begin to understand why they don't want to obey a court ruling and release Mazi Kanu.....his release will put a spanner in the works of their nefarious and clandestine antics in the south-east! They need him out of the way so they can continue to capitalise on the sit-at-home threats of the ekpa bastard! False-flag operations are carried out in the south-east in which high-profile crimes are committed or high-profile individuals are murdered as the masked murderers, wearing IPOB insignia, declare into the camera that they’re ‘fighting for Biafra’ or they claim to be IPOB/ESN! Only a naive person would not recognise the set-up! Dr Akunyili, the INEC official, the murdered soldiers who were filmed, and this recent one of the beheading of the LG boss….all these were carried out by the same group of deep-state actors! These vermin are non-Igbo and it would be near impossible to apprehend them because they’re holed-up in army and police barracks in the south-east! I suspect some of them are ‘repentant’ terrorists too! On numerous occassions IPOB as well as Mazi Kanu have called for a stop to insecurity in the south-east....incase some emotionally misguided Igbo elements are engaged in fueling insecurity in the name of IPOB and Kanu! You conveniently overlook this because it doesn't feed into your 'IPOB and Kanu are bad' narrative! A lot of Igbo are too naive and trusting to recognise what’s presently going on in the south-east regarding the presidential elections: PVC collections....this also includes Lagos; sit-at-home (which IPOB have said numerous times has been called off); and high-profile murders in the region! All this is aimed at trying to negatively affect the support from Peter Obis’ support base and hopefully affect voter turnout in the region on election day! The animals who has previously focused all their attention on trying to implicate Mazi Kanu and IPOB as ‘terrorists’ have now got an added reason for causing bloodshed and mayhem in the south-east: the upcoming presidential elections! One thing that is assured is that if, by Gods grace, Peter Obi wins and they don’t manage to manipulate the outcome of the election, i can assure all reading this that all this criminality, murders and silliness presently being witnessed in the south-east will end…highest two weeks after President Obi is sworn into office! Ndigbo are generally peace loving and law abiding citizens and it would be shown when peace returns to the region once again and the south-east resumes its position as the most peaceful region in the country! This madness came with Buhari and Uzodinma, and it will leave with them! 2 Likes |

IGBOSON1: Nwanne, it is always a pleasure to read your submision. I thank God for brothers like you. It is because of sensible men like yourself that we can still stand up and speak like men. if left for those our brothers, we will all be in skirt by now. They love life but forget the bible says, those that try to keep their life will lose it and those that lose it will gain it. It is not about doing nothing, because the enemy will still kill you, as they do unarmed civilians in their sleep across Nigeria and especially the middle belt and recently SE. We must fight the good fight and liberate our land before we are overrun by terrorist. if we, ordinary people, can set up ESN that, they are talking about, then imagine what more we are capable to achieve. IGBOSON1: Actually your submission is the naive one. Read "Why Nations Fail" and you will see why you should not allow an organization like IPOB/ESN thrive in SE today. the most important message SE needs right now is the message of reorientation and admonishing our people to invest home and lets build a better economically viable SE. Nothing else matters now. If IPOB is not doing that, they are only contributing to the restivity of SE and that is the last thing we want now. I don't care about what have been done to the Igbos, for now, I only care about what Igbos can do for themselves to build a better Igboland 1 Like |

This is the President of African Export–Import Bank (AFREXIM), Dr. Benedict Okey Oramah who is from Anamrba State. Ipob is a terrorist organisation that has its headquaters in abia state. Ipob is made up of illiterates and miscreants that are mostly from Abia state. Abia is a failed state that's why their indigenes formed this destructive organisation so they can destroy SE but they have only failed to penetrate Anambra except at border towns, just like they destroyed imo state. Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by IGBOSON1: 12:51am On Jan 31, 2023 |
NwekereNdoki: The bolded caught my attention….everything else you wrote is wishy-washy claptrap! Who brought about the existence and acceptance of IPOB and preceding secessionist organisations that came before them in the south-east…..Ndigbo or the evil hegemonic Nigerian state who, since the late 60s, has embarked on a hateful and vindictive campaign of marginalisation and sabotage of Igbo interests both in the region and nationally!? Those bold enough to give you reasons for their hate will tell you ‘Ndigbo sent Nzeogwu, et-al, to murder their leaders while leaving ours unharmed’!😳 In essence, telling you THE UNCIVIL WAR HAS NOT ENDED! Now which people, who don’t consider themselves to be enslaved, will accept to continue shouldering such blame!? The problem with people who reason like you is that you always start the story halfway….and even the one you tell from the halfway point is usually a tissue of lies, half-truths and revisionism! It was Philip Effiong, while signing papers that signalled the end of the uncivil war, that said something to the effect that if the issues that brought about the ‘67-‘70 hostilities are not resolved, that Nigeria could witness a reoccurrence in future! Emir Sanusi also argued along those lines as well when he stated (and i paraphrase here) that the children of Ndigbo who didn’t witness the war could rise up against the Nigerian state if issues of perceived injustice and marginalisation against them aren’t addressed! Till tomorrow, those issues haven’t been addressed as the Nigerian state refuses to confront its demons but rather prefers to either use bullets to try and cow agitators into submission or sweep any thorny and intractable issues of nationhood under the carpet and pretend not to notice the elephant in the room! You think Ndigbo love confronting the murderous Fulani controlled Nigerian state!? You think they don’t like peace!? IPOB and MASSOB had existed many years before the coming of Buhari and Uzodinma, and during this time the south-east region was adjudged as the most peaceful in the country! To any inquiring mind, that should point to the fact that these secessionist organisations are peaceful! But not you and your type! As far as you’re concerned, IPOB woke up one fine morning like that, and out of the blue just decided to ask for secession….and because they don’t like the faces of Buhari and Uzodinma, they also decided to pick up arms and start murdering, butchering and cannibalising themselves….something they’ve NEVER been known for! Your problem is that you’re reading the story as narrated by the very same animals responsible for what has and is happening in the south-east today! One incontrovertible and unimpeachable fact is that there are three major ethnic grps in Nigeria: Igbo, Yoruba and Hausa-Fulani! Now of this tripod, two have produced presidents or head-of-state….MORE THAN ONCE, with one of them even having had a go more times than one cares to remember! Now in a fair and just society (which you’re implying Nigeria is, as you see no reason for the Igbo to agitate), one would expect the ‘favoured’ two to join hands with the marginalised one and choose who they’d prefer as president from that region/ethnicity! But as we speak, the have both greedily elected to throw fairness, equity and justice out the window as they try to scheme, bribe and threaten their way into Aso Rock! Do you think the other two would have tolerated such a travesty of justice from the third leg had they been similarly treated and cheated out of producing president/head-of-state for more than half a century!? It’s not even as if the greedy two are prepared to allow a free and fair contest! As we speak, they’re engaged in all manner of subterfuge and illegality to try and steal the election! This can be seen in all the goings on with PVC collection in the south-east and Lagos! Forget empty and meaningless soundbites and platitudes alluding to a nonexistent ‘unity’ and ‘nation’….there’s nothing like a nation called Nigeria! It’s just a mere geographical expression and a forced union of unlikely bedfellows! If someone, through their actions and utterances, let’s you know they have no regard for you and see you as 3rd-class citizens that should queue up behind them, then it’s time to ask yourself some hard questions on whether it’s really worth continuing to share the same country with these people! Their negative attitude and view of Ndigbo will NEVER change, and even generations down the line, they will still continue to blame Ndigbo for the Nzeogwu coup and continue to rationalise their hateful actions based on this! If this is the country you want your offspring to inherit, then i’m afraid you’re nothing but a ‘happy slave’….one prepared to offer his head to break the hard coconut of Nigerian ‘nationhood’ and ‘unity’ while others enjoy the benefits! |

IGBOSON1: You are still repeating the same boring lines, fulani hate Igbos, yoruba hates igbos, bla bla bla. I said I DONT CARE ABOUT WHO LIKES OR WHO HATES IGBOS. I ONLY CARE ABOUT HOW IGBOS WILL MOVE AHEAD DISREGARDING THEIR HATE. U can't tell me that IPOB has brought any progres to SE. or AlaIgbo. U know u can't tell any sensible Igbo that I don't have a problem with what they are agitating for, I only have a problem with how they have now decided to go about their agitation (this day we don't even know who is IPOB or who is not). What they are doing is bringing ANarchy to our land and will leave holes for termites to get in and eat up what we have left. When you do nsogbu nsogbu finish you will be drawn back to the realization that the only way to stand strong is if you are either politically or economically powerful. If you have neither of them, nothing you do or says matters or would be taken seriously. U can of course keep using ur self to sacrifice to catch the bullets of illiterate soldiers. But that won't give you Biafra. I do not believe in negotiating from a place of weakness. I believe in holding all your cards and calling your own shots. SE and Alaigbo must start from now to build an economic powerhouse in all the SE states and AlaIgbo (SS inclusive) by investing massively into SE and growing our economy. In doing this we raise our bargaining power. Going to shout Biafra without any of the two things I've outlined is putting the cart before the horse. And Again I do not believe we need Biafra to build a better Igbo land. We only need a better Igboland that will thrive anywhere and in any country. I do not believe Fulanis or Hausas are powerful enough to keep any Igbo man down. I have never believed that, we are the ones apportioning too much power to them. 5 Likes |

NwekereNdoki: I see you've added more claptrap to your post since first repying earlier on! Dude, you're all over the place with your argument (and in your case, i use the term 'argument' quite losely) neither sticking to one position or giving cogent reasons for said position! If you don't 'care about who likes or hates Igbos' is it then any wonder you're placing blame for insecurity in the south-east at the wrong doorstep!? If you don't know what ailment you have, then just how TF can you fix it.....you'd just be chasing shadows and blaming the wrong persons for your travails! In any case, i'm not surprised at the kind of infantile arguments you come up with as one has to sound really stupid to see black and try to 'argue' that it's white! You have a mission on this and other Igbo threads, and my own mission here is to expose your 5th-columnist status! Just how TF can any grown ass Igbo man, knowing the history of what we have been through with the hegemonic north in 'one Nigeria' from the 50s to date.....how they have shown in words and in deeds their hatred for Igbos'.....just how TF can anyone interested in addressing how we go forward and prosper as a people not take seriously their negative disposition towards Ndigbo!? Are you fcking kidding me!? It was this same uninterested and appeasing attitude towards the hegemonic north by Zik that made us not know the dangers we were going into agreeing to share the same country with them! At least the then Sadauna was honest enough to acknowledge there were schisms and intractable issues amongst the major ethnicities and regions, while on the other hand Zik wanted them overlooked! Now see where we are today with the loss of millions of our beloved kinsfolk and the undermining of our economic and political interests in 'one Nigeria'! I believe the major reason the hegemonic north despises Ndigbo -apart from the religious aspect- is that we are a never-say-die people who love a challenge and have the drive, tenacity and staying power to take advantage of opportunities at our disposal to progress economically and do well for ourselves, and they find it hard to compete! The core north has a different worldview and values, and would usually come second place to the Igbo in any competing educational, economic and political environment! The hegemonic north was never comfortable sharing the same space with Ndigbo because of this and this could be seen in that infamous interview the then Sadauna gave where he disparaged the Ndigbo proclivity to strive for success wherever and however they find themselves! I believe part of the reason we have found ourselves holding the short end of the stick in 'one Nigeria' is because of this attitude our elite have to be so trusting, naive and think everyone else values life and the principles of fairness, equity and justice like we do! This is our achilles heel! Dude, if you're looking for who to 'bring progress the south-east or Alaigbo', why TF are you looking in the direction of IPOB!? With that your 'one Nigeria' mindset, don't you know the south-east and Alaigbo have existed in your 'one Nigeria' since 1960 and IPOB was formed just a little over a decade ago!? So for half a century, Ndigbo have been doing things your 'one Nigeria' way....with no IPOB butting in to dagbaru proceedings! So where then is the El-Dorado.....the 'miracle' transformantion of Alaigbo? Did we attain uhuru before IPOB appeared on the scene? Was there peace, harmony, justice and equity between Ndigbo and the hegemonic north and their southern partners!? You see what you're doing? You are blaming IPOB for the evil machinations of the bigoted Buhari admin' and their hegemonic northern partners which has seen them illegally rendition Mazi kanu from Kenya....stall the judicial process since they know they don't have a judicial leg to stand on.....and then brazenly disregard a legally binding court order that has given Mazi kanu his freedom and instructed he be released forthwith! While this intransigence by Buhari and his evil partners was going on, a plan was then set in motion to try and 'factionalise' IPOB (this was when we saw the emergence of sponsored dingbats like the ekpa bastard, chinasa nworu, DOS, autopilots, etc) and this was when we started reading of conflicting interests within 'IPOB' and well as reading unreasonable statements/tweets from these compromised scumbags about sit-at-home (which IPOB have said severally has been called off) Biafra, etc! IPOB have released a statement saying the ekpa scoundrel is not one of them and doesn't speak for them! Equally, Mazi Kanu and IPOB have sued for peace in the south-east region and condemned any form of violence in their name! IPOB has equally said they have not said elections shouldn't hold in the region! Given all the aforementioned, it's then a wonder how anyone with a working brain can't see the obvious hand of the deep-state...the Buhari gov't, and their hegemonic partners in all the bloodshed and insecurity going on in the south-east! It's NZOBGU-NZOGBU and not NSOGBU-NSOGBU! The literal translation of nsogbu-nsogbu would mean for instance a group of angry young men, moving forward energetically in a dancing fashion, and stamping their feet on the ground in unison as they vigorously sing 'trouble-trouble...enyimba, enyi'! Does that even make sense! Ndigbo have always tried to do things by the book in Nigeria! We have always wanted to treat others fairly even as we expect to be treated fairly ourselves, and this is in keeping with our Egbe belu, Ugo belu..... philosophy! However, like i alluded to earlier, there are some who don't go by this maxim and would much rather cheat others while they take more than their fairshare in politics, economy, and the distribution of our commonwealth! You could see Ndigbo showing this sense of fairness and justice in the way we stuck up for and supported our Ijaw neigbour for president even though this would have worked against our political interests! You could equally see injustice being visited on us on many occassions: Ibeto/INNOSON/Air-Peace travails; stealing hydrocarbon rich parts of Alaigbo and placing in other regions/states to be manged and enjoyed by others; denying Ndigbo (purportedly a 3rd leg of the tripod) any commanding presence in the security architecture of the country; depriving Anambra of its 13% derivation payments until Obiano had to go to Abuja to kick up a fuss; the refusal by some to acknowledge it is now Igbo lo kon; etc! We hate injustice....whether it's being visited on us or anyone else, and we're fiercely protective of our freedoms as well! Nobody needs to lecture Ndigbo on how to be economically and politically strong! In a fair and just society (which Nigeria is not), we would do well and compete with the best at the top! However, in a country like Nigeria, where the system is rigged against us and we see the other two legs of the tripod trying to undermine our political and economic interests at any given opportunity, there's little else one can do besides fight ones corner! It's this fighting for what's ours that has rubbed some up the wrong way and they are determined to bring us down a peg or two to the 'enslaved/3rd-class' status they feel is appropriate for us since they reckon they are the 'victors' in the '67-'70 uncivil war and that Nigeria belongs to their hegemonic ass! |

AdJosh:Ezi shut up your mouth. Go and understand what development means first before coming here to run your mouth and ask stupid questions. A villager like you that has not visited any airport in the country now has an opinion on airports and ICC because Obiano made it possible, thats development for a start. If not you will stick to your village beer parlour stories and gossips. ewu 2 Likes |

VIPS welcome Tinubu at Anambra Airport. At this point, only Buhari, the president has not landed in Anambra Airport. All the logistics that would have gone to other states now go directly to Anambra thanks to this Airport. God Bless Obiano! 4 Likes

AdJosh:Ezi bida, what do you know apart from roads. A Governor did his best to build an airport that the FG wouldn't have done for Anambra in a million years and you come here to tell us about roads this and that. Anuofia. Go and ask the families employed by Anambra airport value chain what development means. We have moved to tangible achievements while you are still telling us roads. Which Governor in Nigeria didn't do roads, is there any state in Nigeria with 100% good roads. You clowns should stick to your beer parlours instead of coming here to display your illiteracy. 2 Likes |
