Hello house, I need help.. I applied for a Canada study permit online since September last year, till today there's no update on my application. Is there anyone experiencing the same thing here? My programme has already started at the school as my studies commenced this January. Although, I've already contacted the school to defer my programme to May 2023.. I need help please, is there anything I'm suppose to do at this stage? |

Hello people, Please I need urgent response. Is it better to go for a related postgradute course I read in my undergraduate degree but have no work experience on or go for a course I didn't study in my undergraduate but have 4yrs experience on. Which one has a better visa prospect for me? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Kaptainkoko: 8:18pm On Jan 30, 2023 |
CornOak: 1.No agent. But my uncle put me through base on what he does. 2. Application was done online too. Only went to embassy for biometric 3. Yes. Deferred it from 2020 to 2021 due to covid lock down. Thanks |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by CornOak(m): 9:12pm On Jan 30, 2023 |
FuhadRaheem: Have you done your upfront medicals? If yes, send mails to IRCC offices (Kenya, Lagos, Abuja, Ottawa, London) asking them to update your medical exam. This may trigger your VO to revisit your profile for active review. If no, try and do your medical ASAP and upload the medical information sheet via webform. This is to facilitate the processing. Also, since your application has passed the standard processing time, you can raise a webform asking for an update on your application. Schedule and send mails to those offices listed above 2-3 times per week. I hope this helps. 👍🏼 |

ChiomaMC: Go for the latter to show and establish career progression – has better visa approval chance as well. |

Please I need your urgent response . Which is the best option for POF Lump inflow to convince the VO. Do I convert like 80% of the lump inflow to investment certificate or I leave it as cash in the bank statement? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by CornOak(m): 9:31pm On Jan 30, 2023 |
Kaptainkoko: To the best of my knowledge, there MAY be three (3) things at play here: 1. Since you submitted in 2021, your medical exam must have expired (if you did an upfront medical). 2. Your last deferral was in 2021 and this is 2023 – almost two years apart. This means your letter of acceptance might have expired. 3. Your bank statement may be old. SOLUTION 1. Order your GCMS / CBSA notes (CBSA is faster) to know the current status of your application. 2. If your medical has expired, book and submit an updated medical to IRCC as soon as possible. 3. Get a new letter of acceptance from your DLI and send to IRCC via webform. 4. Send a new/updated statement of account to IRCC if you have enough fund with no lump sum (or explain the abnormal inflow if lump sum exists). 5. Complete your tuition payment if you are buoyant and send the full payment receipt to IRCC via webform. 6. Contact your MP and beg them to request for update from IRCC on your behalf. 7. Bombard IRCC offices all over the world with constant emails asking them to finalize your application (be a bit emotional). 8. Pray for a favorable outcome. I hope and pray that you get a positive decision soon. Be strong and stay positive. Cheers.🤝🏼 4 Likes |

ahmedio2017: I think you are better off applying for a PGD or PGC with your 2.2 result than going for a diploma with your WAEC. In fact, if you have 80% or more in the last 2-4 semesters of your Bsc, you may land an Msc admission. Remember, if you hide your Bsc certificate now to enter Canada, then you may have to hide it forever. Good luck.👏🏼 5 Likes |

genkins: Sorry about your wife's refusal. Did you apply as her dependant? If yes, what type of visa did you apply for yourself – visiting or SOWP? You can show the following as home ties: 1. Landed property (land, house) or investments 2. A reputable job or personal business 3. Family – siblings, parents 4. Cars, pets, and other important possessions 5. Membership of professional organizations ...As for your GCMS note, you can apply for a CBSA note since it's faster than the later these days. It takes 7 - 30 days to arrive. Wishing you the best.👍🏼 1 Like |

Hi everyone I submitted my application on January 20 and I've done biometrics I'm considering taking an upfront medical and uploading it because my Program is May. Do you think this is possible or should I wait for the request because of IMEI number or it isn't necessary thank you. |

I think this is where the problem is ACCOUNTANT-JOURNALIST-HEALTHCARE. there is no career progression. It would be more convincing if she was going for a course related to journalism genkins: 3 Likes |
