Not much difference between Obi and Tinubu in terms of gaffes. Obi that will be speaking fallacies like facts, if he says 10 things, only 4 or there about is close to reality, won’t be surprised if Peter Obi does drugs.

Responding in a statement, Shaibu said the “constant gaffes of Tinubu started as a comic relief but is slowly becoming a tragedy, an embarrassment to Nigeria”.

“Since Tinubu declared his intention to contest, he has made over 20 gaffes publicly. These gaffes, which have provided online skit makers with comic content, are no longer a laughing matter but a tragic embarrassment to a nation in dire need of salvation.”

“In his latest rally in Akwa Ibom State, Tinubu said he made Atiku Abubakar the Senate President when it is on record that Atiku has never contested any legislative election before.

“I make bold to say that, apart from his questionable background and records, Tinubu’s endless gaffes and miscues are effects of his failing health. His degenerate mental faculty is a clear and present danger to national security. A man who lacks clear control of his mental faculties cannot lead a nation.

“But this would not be the first time the so-called Lagos godfather would put his ignorance on national display. Some months ago, he said he planned on recruiting 50 million youths into the Nigerian Army in order to solve the unemployment problem. Sadly, those within his circle gave him a standing ovation at the event in Kano rather than correct him.

“Next, he called on Nigerians to go and renew their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) as they would expire ahead of the election. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had to swiftly issue a statement after Tinubu’s utterance began causing panic in the polity.

“Tinubu at his Lagos rally asked Nigerians to get their APV in order to vote for APC when even primary school children know that the PVC (Permanent Voter Card) is the only item that admits a voter into a polling unit.

“If Tinubu were contesting for the position of Grand Comedian of the Federal Republic (GCFR), his gaffes would have been appropriately classified as jokes. But he is running for the most exalted office in the land. Hence, these gaffes must not be overlooked.

“Nigerians must note that the Bola Tinubu who served as governor from 1999 to 2007 is different from the Bola Tinubu of today. The Bola Tinubu of today lacks the capacity to lead a nation of 200 million people most of whom are living in abject poverty.

“But sadly, it seems Tinubu’s physical strength is actually superior to his mental capacity, going by his numerous embarrassing utterances. Last Christmas, comedian Sabinus, based his entire stage performance on Tinubu’s many gaffes. The audience that gathered were almost rolling on the floor.

“On the surface, this might be funny but when one considers the fact that Tinubu is the candidate of the ruling party, it becomes all the more tragic. Tinubu’s handlers know about his declining mental capacity hence their refusal to let him attend debates or live interviews.

“However, it must be noted that Aso Rock is neither a sanatorium nor a mental institution

Itsrm when I tell u banks are complicit in the whole scarcity of new notes, this is what I mean.

Where do u think those spraying these new notes in the videos below got it from? It's definitely not directly from CBN's mint/vault. And I don't think merchant banks give physical cash to their customers. They obviously got it from commercial banks whose CEO's are lamenting scarcity of the new notes.

Before anybody say they got it from money changers, just know that the money changers also got it from the commercial banks and not directly from CBN.

Nigerians are completely fked and also unbelievably stupid

This is how a silly woman was flexing with petrol giveaway at a wedding

These ones should not complain when the anti hoarding patrol comes for them and they are arrested for abuse of the naira. And the sprayer is asked to identify his source

Sometimes I do wonder if people like those in the videos even think through some of their actions before doing it. What they've here is that they have not only put themselves in trouble but their plug as well. While they may get away with light punishment if arrested by Buhari's anti hoarding task force, they may end up destroying the career of their plug if he's a senior banker that has put in serious work to get to the position he's able to control that kind money out for them.

People never learn.

Making it available would actually defeats it's aim....

I think d 1000notes has lost it values cos it is easily accessible and used anyhow due to its availability...

I like d idea of restricting it..d lower denominations are still as readily available as it were.

U are obviously missing the point. Nigeria is moving from a cash based economy to a cashless economy. Going forward u won't be seeing cash almost everywhere like u used to.

Saying "This money no dey like that" shows u expect to be seeing the new notes almost everywhere, even when CBN has advised people to use alternative channels of payment like POS and transfer. If u must have cash, then u can't have more than 20k in a day and that 20k u will be on an ATM queue to get it.

Now its.rm said the banks do not have the cash as claimed by CBN , but from my personal experience the banks have cash(Not as much as they used to in the past, but they certainly have cash). If the banks don't have the cash money changers won't get a hold on it except u want to tell me money chnagers have people who get the cash for them directly from CBN.

There are several reasons why this policy is a good one, but them centering vote buying as the major reason is somehow.

I get this, but the execution has been crap, once a policy starts becoming dependent on people being perfectly behaved, it's started to fail already. They are well aware of the currency racketeering market, what have they done about it? If they've not been doing anything about it before now, they ought to have known that now was the perfect time to punish banks that are selling mint when there'd be an expected surge in demand.
