Damn, we are basically buying the new notes over here, POS charge 100 naira per thousand but as at today it has jumped to 150. The POS owner told me that they buy the new notes from bank, so they have to sell it too. |

Every single Nigerian looking for a way to inflict suffering on his fellow citizen. From president to CBN governor, to banks, to the common man. The last person to leave the country should off the light and drop the key in Cotonou. 5 Likes 1 Share |

BlueRayDick: Maybe they got it from Jaiz bank On a serious note, someone asked a question that has gotten me thinking How come Tinubu and other APC members who have come out to condemn Emefiele and even Buhari did not put out this kind of outrage when ASUU was on strike or when the naira was on a free fall Is it not funny that it's now these people are concerned about the suffering of the common man. |

Itsrm: Na wetin I dey talk since be that na. Tinubu wey use him mouth tell us say when APC replaces PDP we won't experience ASUU strike again....Dem reach there finish ASUU dey strike as usual and he couldn't find his voice. Tinubu used his mouth to tell us PDP mismanaged the economy and that was why the exchange rate for a dollar was as high as N216. Now Tinubu's party enter we all know what exchange rate is after 8 years. He no remember to call out Emefiele that time o. Na now wey the thing dey touch everybody he suddenly find his voice and we are hearing his supporters talking about common man suffering. The question is shey common man no dey suffer since all these days? |

chrisooblog: He's 100% supporting Tinubu. The moment I started hearing him tell people during campaigns that the leaders of the party at the ward level will tell them who to vote for, I knew he was going for Tinubu. I still don't see Tinubu winning Rivers State but he will definitely get more than 25% with the governors support. |

Ameachi in the mud. Heard PDP is backing Tonye Cole in return politics does make strange bed fellows. Itsrm: |
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Itsrm(m): 1:06pm On Jan 31, 2023 |
chrisooblog: Magnus Abe was Tinubus choice for Rivers APC governorship candidate. The APC structure in the state is however with Amaechi so it was easy to tilt the prinaries in the direction of his long time ally Tonye Cole. Tonye Cole does not openly campaign for Tinubu while Magnus Abe sponsors a lot of radio jingles for Tinubu If PDP NWC likes let them back Tonye Cole, he won't win. The guy is not that popular in the streets of PH. If they had given the ticket to Magnus Abe, maybe , just maybe he would have had a slight chance. Magnus kinds of resonate more with the people than Tonye Cole. My wild theory is that Magnus leaving the APC was part of Wikes grand plan to divide whatever votes APC was hoping to get. Magnus is a very good friend of Wike and I hear he had a significant portion of the contract to build the law school. I believe he will be duly compensated when Fubara wins. |

ToyinDipo: Same you on February 23, 2019 (days to the 2019 presidential election even when Buhari had proven to be a disaster). Even with the cry of Nigerians, you supported Buhari in 2019 based on tribal sentiments but today Tinubu being unsellable, you want to equate him to Peter Obi. ToyinDipo:https://www.nairaland.com/5040974/2019-presidential-election-live-updates/45#76045974 It was and is never about a better Nigeria for you but about tribal affiliations. Even boasted that #30k minimum wage was enough to relieve Nigerians of suffering. You lots can only fool those who don't dig into you. 13 Likes 5 Shares |

Between 1999-2003, Tinubu banned NURTW(Agbero) in Lagos while the then Oyo state governor (late)Lam Adeshina fought Tinubu for doing so. He and other Southwest governors protected Agbero and were not happy with Tinubu for doing so. NURTW took Tinubu to court and they won. (c) @StFreakingKezy 2 Likes

CrystalTiger: You think it's funny when Tinubu has further ruined the Akwa Ibom APC governorship candidate's chances? If you know the damage Tinubu's outburst did yesterday, you'd wish that campaign never happened. The Akwa Ibom APC governorship candidate is loved. Until the primaries he was in the PDP. He's a billionaire businessman who has never been in government and has refused appointments. He's also one of the brains behind Ibom Air. Has little enemies across party lines. Considered a bridge between Udom and Akpabio. All these should have been to his advantage and he'd considered the Labour Party (but who would have known LP would have been a force in April, 2022?) His campaign was also based on being his own man and not having a godfather even though APC is hated. Udom barely talks but is very vindictive. You'd not find his say anything negative about the opposition. Immediately Tinubu called him a "small boy", information I got is there was an emergency meeting of religious leaders aka " fathers of faith" and traditional rulers this morning about Tinubu insulting the office of the governor. His media team are already pushing the narrative that Tinubu insulted Akwa Ibom people and considers them as "small boys". Guess how that is being received by Akwa Ibomites all over the world? Tinubu unwittingly campaigned for Peter Obi and ruined whatever chances Akan Udofia has of being governor. Tinubu should never have been at the Akwa Ibom campaign. Udom was counting on Tinubu's gaffe. Local-search " Udom Tinubu small boy" on Facebook to begin with. In the next few days, you'd realise why Udom has a nice guy image in the media - he spends a lot on it. 6 Likes |

ToyinDipo:Yeah, the usual "jobless" weak comeback when they are caught. Good that you have admitted you don't give a tuppence about Nigeria's development. You can vote Buhari a billions times if you will. Now you can be the self-serving anti-development crusader you are without trying to play neutral or equate Peter Obi to the lots. Live your reality. 3 Likes |
