My brother Janosky has done justice to this so humbly request a free home Bible study from one of Jehovah's Witnesses because you need to know about Archangel Michael the spirit being in charge of the organization of God's people today {Daniel 12:1-3} he has always been the leader of God's heavenly armies {Revelations 12:7} so when you see JWs actively preaching zealously and industriously teaching throughout the world know that it's Michael who is leading this vast army leading us to victory! Psalms 110:1-3

May you have PEACE! smiley

Michael ,and his personal army of angels, are mythical characters in a story much like the reference to Hell and the Bosom of Abraham in the parable Lazarus and the rich man. undecided

There may have in fact been a prince of Israel named Michael at a time, but after that a myth was created around his person and used in telling of stories. undecided

Not a single place in scripture is a relationship — direct or indirect — drawn between the character that is Micheal, and the person of Jesus Christ. undecided
A. The mention of Michael in Daniel 10 has him fighting against human enemies. The vision is recorded to have taken place during the third year that Cyrus was the king of Persia, meaning the prince of Persia at the time was likely the son of Cyrus, the commander of the Persian army, and we happen to know that God specially selected his father, Cyrus, for the work that He, God, had him do on behalf of Israel - Isaiah 45. undecided
10 Then a hand touched me. When that happened, I got on my hands and knees. I was so afraid that I was shaking.
11 The man in the vision said to me, “Daniel, God loves you very much. Think very carefully about the words I will speak to you. Stand up; I have been sent to you.” And when he said this, I stood up. I was still shaking because I was afraid.
12 Then the man in the vision started talking again. He said, “Daniel, do not be afraid. From the very first day you decided to get wisdom and to be humble in front of God, he has been listening to your prayers. I came to you because you have been praying.
13 But the prince of Persia has been fighting against me for 21 days. Then Michael, one of the most important princes, came to help me because I was stuck there with the king of Persia.
14 Now I have come to you, Daniel, to explain to you what will happen to your people in the future. The vision is about a time in the future.”
15 While the man was talking to me, I bowed low with my face toward the ground. I could not speak.
16 Then the one who looked like a man touched my lips. I opened my mouth and started to speak. I said to the one standing in front of me, “Sir, I am upset and afraid because of what I saw in the vision. I feel helpless.
17 Sir, I am Daniel your servant. How can I talk with you? My strength is gone and it is hard for me to breathe.”
18 The one who looked like a man touched me again. When he touched me, I felt better.
19 Then he said, “Daniel, don’t be afraid. God loves you very much. Peace be with you. Be strong now, be strong.” When he spoke to me, I became stronger. Then I said, “Sir, you have given me strength. Now you can speak.”
20 So then he said, “Daniel, do you know why I have come to you? Soon I must go back to fight against the prince of Persia. When I go, the prince of Greece will come.
21 But Daniel, before I go, I must first tell you what is written in the Book of Truth. No one stands with me against those evil angels except Michael, the prince over your people. - Daniel 10 vs 10 -21
So, this story about Michael standing with another against evil angels.... what evil angels if not men? It is likely that Michael was at the time a prince of Israel who advocated on behalf of his people during their years in exile. undecided

B. In Daniel 12, we briefly record the mention of Michael again,
1. “Daniel, at that time the great prince Michael will stand up. Michael is in charge of your people. There will be a time of much trouble, the worst time since nations have been on earth. But Daniel, at that time every one of your people whose name is found written in the book of life will be saved.
2 There are many who are dead and buried. Some of them will wake up and live forever, but others will wake up to shame and disgrace forever.
3 The wise people will shine as bright as the sky. Those who teach others to live right will shine like stars forever and ever.
4 “But you, Daniel, keep this message a secret. You must close the book and keep this secret until the time of the end. Many people will go here and there looking for true knowledge, and the true knowledge will increase.” - Daniel 12 vs 1 - 4
In verse 1 alone we find referenced two different points in time - a time when Michael will stand up for the people, and another time when the troubles of the people would be much worse than it has been since the beginning, meaning a time coming after Michael's period is over. And the story continues on from that second point in time. if time is able to continue past him, then surely, he cannot be the savior even of Israel. undecided

C. Then we have the entry in Jude where Michael is claimed to have argued with the devil regarding the body of Moses. What is curious about this is that Jude compares humans — those who reject God's authority — to the one who he calls an archangel, how come? undecided
8 It is the same way with these people who have entered your group. They are guided by dreams. They make themselves dirty with sin. They reject God’s authority and say bad things against the glorious ones.
9 Not even the archangel Michael did this. Michael argued with the devil about who would have the body of Moses. But Michael did not dare to condemn even the devil for his false accusations. Instead, Michael said, “The Lord punish you!”
10 But these people criticize things they don’t understand. They do understand some things. But they understand these things not by thinking, but by feeling, the way dumb animals understand things. And these are the things that destroy them. - Jude 1 vs 10
Why did Jude compare those who reject the authority of God to Michael, and in past tense, mind you? undecided

D. Then we have the mention of the same character in Revelation 12. Something interesting about the claim made of what Michael and his merry band of angels did is mentioned here. So, according to the tale, there was supposedly this battle in heaven, and Satan was thrown down to earth. Well, guess what, that happened about 2000 years ago when Jesus Christ announced that He saw Satan fall like lightening from the sky. Satan is after all the enemy in the Kingdom of God, and he arrived to
1. And then a great wonder appeared in heaven: There was a woman who was clothed with the sun, and the moon was under her feet. She had a crown of twelve stars on her head.
2 She was pregnant and cried out with pain because she was about to give birth.
3 Then another wonder appeared in heaven: There was a giant red dragon there. The dragon had seven heads with a crown on each head. It also had ten horns.
4 Its tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and threw them down to the earth. It stood in front of the woman who was ready to give birth to the baby. It wanted to eat the woman’s baby as soon as it was born.
5 The woman gave birth to a son, who would rule all the nations with an iron rod. And her child was taken up to God and to his throne.
6 The woman ran away into the desert to a place that God had prepared for her. There she would be taken care of for 1260 days.
7 Then there was a war in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon. The dragon and its angels fought back,
8 but they were not strong enough. The dragon and its angels lost their place in heaven.
9 It was thrown down out of heaven. (This giant dragon is that old snake, the one called the devil or Satan, who leads the whole world into the wrong way.) The dragon and its angels were thrown to the earth.
10 Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say, “The victory and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Messiah have now come. These things have come, because the accuser of our brothers and sisters has been thrown out. He is the one who accused them day and night before our God.
11 They defeated him by the blood sacrifice of the Lamb and by the message of God that they told people. They did not love their lives too much. They were not afraid of death.
12 So rejoice, you heavens and all who live there! But it will be terrible for the earth and sea, because the devil has gone down to you. He is filled with anger. He knows he doesn’t have much time.” - Revelation 12 vs 1 - 12
This means whatever "battle" there may have been between Michael and Satan — possibly the same story or similar to that found in Jude — took place over 2000 years ago, this before the people themselves became and began defeating the same Satan by the blood sacrifice of the Lamb and by the message of God. undecided

Yes, Micheal is a character in the past and has nothing to do with Jesus Christ who is the lamb of God and continues to remain so for eternity. undecided

1. YHWH is not the Father of Jesus Christ. Instead, YHWH is the name of the Old Covenant Law of Moses — the National Constitution of the Nation of Israel in the land of Canaan — handed by God to the people of Israel from whom He constituted a nation. YHWH is the name of the agreement, just as Jesus Christ is the name of the agreement God made with the people of Israel promising to make a Kingdom of Priests of them — in the Kingdom of God. undecided

2. In Zechariah 3, Zechariah had a vision of interest which some seem confused about here. undecided
1. The angel showed me Joshua the high priest, standing in front of the angel of the Lord and Satan was standing by Joshua’s right side. Satan was there to accuse Joshua of doing wrong.
2 Then the angel of the Lord said, “The Lord says that you are wrong, and he will continue to correct you! The Lord has chosen Jerusalem to be his special city. He saved that city—it was like a burning stick pulled from the fire.”
3 Joshua was wearing a dirty robe as he stood in front of the angel.
4 Then the angel said to the other angels standing near him, “Take those dirty clothes off Joshua.” Then the angel spoke to Joshua. He said, “Now, I have taken away your guilt, and I am giving you a new change of clothes.”
5 Then I said, “Put a clean turban on his head.” So they put the clean turban on him and also put clean clothes on him while the Lord’s angel stood there.
6 Then the Lord’s angel said this to Joshua:
7 This is what the Lord All-Powerful said: “Live the way I tell you, and do everything I say. And you will be in charge of my Temple. You will take care of its courtyard. You will be free to go anywhere in my Temple, just as these angels standing here.
8 Listen, Joshua, you who are the high priest, and listen, you fellow priests seated before him. You are all examples to show what will happen when I bring my special servant. He is called, the Branch.
9 Look, I put a special stone in front of Joshua. There are seven sides on that stone. I will carve a special message on it. This will show that in one day, I will remove the guilt from this land.”
10 The Lord All-Powerful says, “At that time people will sit and talk with their friends and neighbors. They will invite each other to sit under the fig trees and grapevines.” - Zechariah 3 vs 1 - 10
■ The language used by the angel in verse 2 is that of one who is under authority, as he speaks as though at the command of the one who is master over him, the angel. This angel's tone in no one compares to that of Jesus Christ who instead directly rebuked Satan as one who is authority Himself would. Only God has the authority to rebuke His servant, Satan.
10 Jesus said to him, “Get away from me, Satan! The Scriptures say, ‘You must worship the Lord your God. Serve only him!’”
11 So the devil left him. Then some angels came to Jesus and helped him. - Matthew 4 vs 10 - 11

■ Joshua, the high priest, was wearing dirty clothes meaning he was filthy with sin— unrighteous even — and so this was not a saving of an innocent but God Himself intervening, in Joshua's particular case, for His reasons. We see this in verse 4 where it is revealed that the dirty clothes indeed mean Joshua was full of guilt. After which we then see the angel delivering God's very message to Joshua beginning in verse 5. By the way, was Joshua not the same high priest in charge when Zechariah was murdered between the temple and the altar
35So you will be guilty for the death of all the good people who have been killed on earth. You will be guilty for the killing of that godly man Abel. And you will be guilty for the killing of Zechariah[f] son of Berachiah. He was killed between the Temple and the altar. You will be guilty for the killing of all the good people who lived between the time of Abel and the time of Zechariah.
36 Believe me when I say that all these things will happen to you people who are living now. - Matthew 23 vs 35 - 36

Anywho, in summary, the authority of Jesus Christ does not compare to the authority of an angel of God, even as far as the rebuking of Satan is concerned. According to scripture, only God has the power to directly rebuke Satan — not even angels have the authority to do such. undecided

3. As for what is written in 2 Thessalonians 1, Paul clearly indicates that the one He writes of is King in the Kingdom of God, Jesus Christ, who is written to come with His powerful angels, not to fight battles of any kind as Jesus Christ made it abundantly clear in His teachings that He already overcame the world for the sake of His followers over 2000 years ago. Jesus Christ did state that He would return in the glory of His Kingdom, as King — with all of His angels with Him. undecided
5 This is proof that God is right in his judgment. He wants you to be worthy of his kingdom. Your suffering is for that kingdom.
6 God will do what is right. He will punish those who are causing you trouble.
7 And he will bring relief to you who are troubled. He will bring it to you and to us when the Lord Jesus comes from heaven for all to see, together with his powerful angels.
8 He will come with burning fire to punish those who don’t know God—those who refuse to accept the Good News about our Lord Jesus.
9 They will be punished with a destruction that never ends. They will not be allowed to be with the Lord but will be kept away from his great power.
10 This will happen on the day when the Lord Jesus comes to receive honor with his holy people. He will be admired among all who have believed. And this includes you because you believed what we told you. - 2 Thessalonians 1 vs 5 - 10
As for the burning fire Jesus Christ is expected to come with verse 11, we read of Jesus Christ the following from John the Baptist in Luke 3...
16 John’s answer to this was, “I baptize you in water, but there is someone coming later who is able to do more than I can. I am not good enough to be the slave who unties his sandals. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.
17 He will come ready to clean the grain. He will separate the good grain from the straw, and he will put the good part into his barn. Then he will burn the useless part with a fire that cannot be stopped.”
18 John said many other things like this to encourage the people to change, and he told them the Good News. - Luke 3 vs 16 - 18
... pretty much what is described by Paul in his letter there, an eternal fire, a destruction that is never ending for eternal damnation. Pretty much what Jesus Christ revealed in His Gospel teaching in the Parable of the Wheat and Tares as well as in Matthew 25 vs 31 - 46. No battles or fighting were indicated anywhere in those contexts, simply punishment for the goats and reward for the sheep in the Kingdom of God. undecided

Again, not a single link between the fabled character of Micheal and Jesus Christ as he remains a mythical past of the people of Israel from the time before Jesus Christ, and remains in that past. Yes, some of the Judaic religion have adopted the character as their patron saint but as God made clear, He did not give them a religion to follow but a Law. undecided

What does the Bible teach about Michael the archangel?
by Matt Slick | Jan 16, 2023 | Angels, Questions

The word 'Michael' occurs 15 times in the Bible and refers to people ten times, with the remaining five referring to Michael the archangel: Daniel 10:13, 21; 12:1; Jude 9, Rev. 12:7. In the NASB, these five references, Michael is called the 'chief prince' in Dan. 10:13, a 'prince' in Dan. 10:21, the 'great prince' in Dan. 12:1, 'archangel' in Jude 9, and simply 'Michael' in Rev. 12:7. So, we know that he is an archangel. The word 'archangel' only occurs twice in the New Testament, 1 Thess. 4:16 and Jude 9.

We don't know the precise hierarchical arrangement of angelic majesties and which are more powerful than others. But, an archangel seems to be a chief angel (Dan. 10:13), who is in charge of other angels and appears to have more power and authority. Furthermore, the archangel Michael seems to be a warrior angel since he is referenced as the one doing battle (Dan. 10:13, 21) and is also the one who disputed with the devil over the body of Moses (Jude 9). No other angel in the Bible is referenced as an archangel. The only words spoken by Michael recorded in the Bible are found in Jude 9 when he disputed with the devil over the body of Moses and said, "the Lord rebuke you!"

All those who will end up in the place of eternal damnation will have had to be born-again. Recall the parable of the wheat and tares happened to be about the Kingdom of God meaning that even the weeds to be cast into eternal damnation-- unquenchable fire -- are part of the same Kingdom of God that Jesus Christ taught His followers that only those who are born-again can enter into. So, it has never been enough to claim one is born-again. undecided

Present a group of worshipers claiming Christians who doesn't support WARS {Matthew 26:52} hate either their neighbours or fellow believers due to politics! Mark 12:28-31

Only students of the Watchtower organization have stood out while the rest are still out there fighting and killing both neighbours and fellow believers due to racism and politics! Revelations 6:3-4

So only JWs are sharing life saving messages the rest only honour the Prince of Peace with their mouths their hearts are far removed from him! Matthew 15:8-9 smiley
