The guy handling my admission process is delaying the process, he has uploaded the credentials on the platform...... Can I proceed to the study centre with my credentials for verification (note: I don't have admission letter). Will I be verified and given matric number? Enskynelson: |
Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by Enskynelson(m): 1:46pm On Feb 02, 2023 |
Azaboy:You cannot upload without admission letter. Admission letter is even part of the things you upload |
Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by Azaboy: 1:50pm On Feb 02, 2023 |
I am not understanding. He claims to have completed the process saying that the only thing left is to go and collect matric number from the study centre.... My question is if I go to the study centre and present my credentials....will I be asked for the admission letter or is the admission letter not needed for physical verification of the credentials? UNDERSTANDING ERROR MESSAGES IN NOUONLINE.NET (LOGIN) AND HOW TO RESOLVE THEM When logging into nouonline.net, you may come across different error messages. Here's what they mean and how you can resolve them: ✅ NOT A VALID MATRIC NUMBER: This means you entered an incorrect matric number. Your matric number is made up of 3 letters (NOU) and 9 digits (0-9), for example NOU123456789. It should only be 12 characters in length. If you receive this error message, double check that you have entered the correct characters. ✅ PLEASE REGISTER FOR …/SEMESTER: This message appears if you have not updated your portal for the current semester. Each semester, students are expected to update their portal to reflect their current status. If you receive this message, be sure to update your portal. ✅ INCORRECT USERNAME OR PASSWORD: This message appears when you entered an incorrect username or password. If you've already updated your portal but are still receiving this error message, you may need to reset your password using the "forgot password" option. ✅ NOT ALLOWED: This message may appear for two reasons. (i) If you've graduated, this message will appear to let you know that your name is already on the graduating list. (ii) If you're still a student and receive this message while logging into your portal, it may mean that you've been caught engaging in exam misconduct. In this case, your portal may be blocked for 2-4 semesters, depending on the severity of your actions. Mushin (Vi - annex at Cappa Oshodi) 5. Badagry Study Centre 6. Ikoyi prison 7. Ikorodu Model Study Centre (Pending) Mushin Study Centre shares same building and address with Vi(Lagos study centre) and it annex is at Cappa, Oshodi |

Thanks but my question is... "I am a new student who chose Mushin study centre as his preferred study centre... Where should I head to for my verification and collection of mstricu number?" Cappa or VI? Thanks. Anthonyo15: |
Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by Anthonyo15(m): 7:45pm On Feb 03, 2023 |
Azaboy:VI |
Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by Azaboy: 7:51pm On Feb 03, 2023 |
Haaaa... VI is quite far from my place of residence.... They ought to be be processing student verification at Cappa. Which kind set up is this one? Anthonyo15: |
Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by Enskynelson(m): 7:55pm On Feb 03, 2023 |
Azaboy:You can still change your study Centre since you haven't been verified yet. You can choose any other one closer to you. It's not only verification that you do at the Study Centre, you also take your exams there too. |
Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by Azaboy: 7:57pm On Feb 03, 2023 |
I am staying at Mushin... There is no other study centre close to me. Enskynelson: |
Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by Samisha500: 10:37pm On Feb 03, 2023 |
Azaboy:You are lucky staying in the mainland which would be closer to your exam venue. Last semester "eExam" venue for Mushin & Apapa students was at JKK ILUPEJU and while PEN ON PAPER was at Cappa, Oshodi. |
Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by Samisha500: 10:48pm On Feb 03, 2023 |
Azaboy:They do but not all the time. You may be directed to visit V.i....The process to get verified and issuance of matriculation number doesn't take less than 30mins. |

ALL NEW STUDENTS SHOULD NOTE THESE: 1). AFTER YOU GET YOUR REG NUMBER, IT WILL TAKE ABOUT 48 HOURS OR EVEN MORE BEFORE YOUR STUDENT EMAIL BECOMES ACTIVE. IF YOU TRY IT IMMEDIATELY, YOU WILL GET A RESPONSE LIKE "EMAIL DOES NOT EXIST" 2). FROM EXPERIENCE, SINCE THE EMAIL IS NOT ACTIVATED AUTOMATICALLY, YOU MAY NOT BE ABLE TO LOGIN TO THE STUDENT PORTAL. IT WOULD ALLOW YOU TO REGISTER, BUT WHEN YOU TRY TO LOGIN, IT WILL TELL YOU "INVALID PASSWORD" THE NEXT SOLUTION TO THE ABOVE IS TO RESET YOUR PASSWORD THROUGH YOUR STUDENT EMAIL. AGAIN, BECAUSE THE EMAIL IS NOT USUALLY ACTIVATED IMMEDIATELY, YOU WOULD BE STUCK UNTIL AFTER THE SAID 48HOURS. 3). WHILE TRYING TO CREDIT YOUR WALLET, REMOVE THE HYPHEN (-) IN THE RRR. EXAMPLE: ENTER 123456789, AND NOT 123-456-789. 4). AFTER YOU REGISTER YOUR COURSES, IT MAY ALSO TAKE UP TO 48HOURS FOR THE COURSES TO APPEAR ON YOUR E-LEARN PORTAL. SO BE PATIENT. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

2022_2 VIRTUAL EXAM UPDATE 90% of those students who wrote the last virtual exams have been blocked due to one or two reasons. If you're among those people; kindly login into your nouonline.net, if it shows NOT ALLOWED, it means that you've been booked for exam misconduct. In this case, your portal may be blocked for 2-4 semesters, depending on the severity of your actions. Thank you |
