TheSuperNerd: Good for him. Future Super eagle if he keeps this up. However, how is daniel Francis of Klagenfurt signed from Bayern Munich. I hope he makes the klagenfurt first team and progresses from there Could solve our midfield problems if he succeeds. Tell me more about his situation now |

Arthur just finished keeping a First half cleansheet as his side leads 1-0 against Salzburg. As for Francis, to be honest, I have patiently waited for his first team debut since his move to Austria on loan from Bayern but it's yet to come. He has made very few appearances for Klagenfurt's 2nd team though in Austria's 4th tier but his chance with the first team hasn't happened just yet. It's frustrating coz I hoped to see how much more he develops after sealing the Bayern move. Let's see how this season's second half go for him at the club. Philosopher1979: 1 Like |

Arthur Okonkwo in action vs Champions, RB Salzburg. His side leads 1-0 at HT. That's a first half cleansheet for young Arthur. 2 Likes

TheSuperNerd: He should take Okoye's place in the next international break... Kayode Bankole deserves a look in too.. Peserio should stop acting like Rohr...stop ignoring good players in positions were in dire need of reinforcement... The defense and midfield needs fixing, otherwise this attack of ours won't achieve much.. 1 Like |

I know that. I am talking about this U20 side. He was in camp. Expected him to make it. Unless you are saying maybe Salisu and Bosso have an understanding on the lad. BascoVanVeli: 1 Like |

TheSuperNerd: TheSuperNerd: Arthur Okonkwo just carried his side to the Semifinals of the Austrian OFB Cup with a 5-4 penalty shootout win over Champions RB Salzburg ON HIS OFFICIAL DEBUT. Game ended 1-1 After Extra time. Outstanding showing!! He saved 1 penalty in the shootout. The other one was off target. OKONKWO AND SK STURM GRAZ are through to the Semis!!!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Correction (Modified): Okonkwo saved 1 not 2 pks. But point stands. 12 Likes 1 Share

No questions about it, Arthur Okonkwo should be in contention for the #1 in that Goalkeeping position, I believe he's among the new players Peseiro is looking to call up. |

Joebie: Oniovo wake up from this dream. Statistics are indicative not entirely conclusive, in addition they have to be seen in the relativity of the quality and or poor quality of the league you are playing in. I have given in-depth appraisal about the Segundo division and how poor it is particularly teams from 6th position down. When you look at the relegation teams like Ponferradina FC the standard is closer to English non league or at very best English league two. Years maybe 2018 ago Samba Cardiff City FA had better statistics than Van Dyke Liverpool FC. It was suggested Samba was better than Van Dyke. However, when you look deeper Cardiff spent their time in the EPL defending for their lives , as a consequence statistics show a team fighting to survive by defending it's not QUALITY. Ponferradina FC have played 25 games and won 6 , you can't have such abysmal statistics in a poor league and think somehow you are Jude Billingham or Iniesta. The reality is that everywhere that NWAKALI has gone in the past 8 years of his football career he has been poor. He has been very consistent always dropping lower, he is now gone lower and you say he is performing. As a Midfielder unfortunately unlike forward players who do Well, you generally go down with your team and the failing of the team are attributed to you as well. Add to that the very very poor quality of the team. I have higher expectations for the SE and unless players are doing excellent in the HERE and NOW I don't talk about them. I look forward to those who are performing . However , you have lowered the Bar , I challenge you to tell me any player I have Mentioned that Nwakali is Doing Better than in ANY WAY SHAPE or FORM ❓❓ please 1 Like

mancoconut: He may also want to put some tabs on his younger brother Brian who is in the Arsenal U18's and doing really well I'm told. That could be very interesting I remember reading about two brothers who played for Nigeria can't remember their names Okala Emmanuel was one not sure what the other was . 1 Like |

komekn:Patrick Okala. In outfield positions we have had Segun and Wole Odegbami, Emma Okocha and JJ Okocha, Nwankwo and Ogbona Kanu, Kalu Uche and IK Uche, Sunny and Azu Oliseh. I didn't include the Babayaro's as I don't believe Emma played for the SE. 2 Likes |

Patrick didn't met Emma Okala in eagles,Wole came into eagles when Segun Odegbami already left,JayJay didn't met Emma Okocha in eagles,Kanu and Ogbona did it a bit.Emma Babayaro didn't make it to eagles, him and Celestine would have broken the record cos they did it together in U17 and U23. 1 Like |

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 1:30pm On Feb 04, 2023 |
humility33: There are 22 teams in La Liga 2. Each fields a first XI meaning we have at least a guaranteed 242 players on display week in, week out or should I say at least 220 outfield players on display per matchday. I am not even counting the others who get gametime off the bench or who come in later and start the next matchday. The Graphic Below shows Nwakali ranked in The top 15 of players in La Liga 2 after 25 matchdays by Sofascore. Is that hype as well? 14th out of at least 220 players. I am not even going to go into some of the individual stats parameters Nwakali appears in prominently in the league. Now even in the EPL, you think it's easy coming up in the top 50 among a crowd of at least 200 first XI outfield players per week? And you damn well know the number of outfield players to bag over 1000+ mins in the PL per season will exceed 250. So you see, It's not hype or overhype when all that is being done is reporting Performances just as they happen. Try to objectively observe these details and maybe you won't "dislike" it or me whenever I drop a report on Nwakali, be it good or bad. Finally, Thanks for the compliments. 3 Likes 1 Share
