This is their Version 3

From the test on their Version 2. The max. Speed was doing 10.6 - 11W max.

The highest speed is enough to equal to a standard standing fan speed 2.

Most fans use aggressive method to pull air to blow outward I.e. more energy consuming but this fan use I guess a modified fan groove that allows for gentle breeze yet cool air outflow.

Superb!!!

The purpose of it's selling/recommendation is only to bring about energy conservation in homes or offices and a shift away from standard fans of higher consumptions.

Ok boss

Hello boss,
should have messaged you but i said let me do research on the sorotec you mentioned,
unfortunately cannot really find any video reviews of it in action, except the advertising ones by the manufacturers
the only thing i see so far is that it needs 120V before the CC part starts to work.
Is this true? If yes, it could be up to 10am or 11am before it kicks in??
Remember that this is for inverter --> panels connection (without batteries)
Can you shed more light on the workings of this inverter?
Thanks

Thank you.

Please do you or anyone here have any experience with Index NXT Lead Acid battery? Is it a good battery?

I've always been using Full River Batteries, but I'm considering using this Index NXT as that is what Prag is offering for sale with the inverter I want to purchase from them.

Full River vs Index NXT batteries. Please what is the verdict folks?

Assuming you bought the MusT inverter for 360k and the cost of repairing that board is nearing half of the cost (180k). I will be favorably disposed to getting a new "better" quality hybrid inverter than spend that much repairing the board. Reason is that there is no guarantee that board wont go bad again.

If you ever decide to go for a new inverter, my advise is to make sure you are getting one with a good history of performance/service you can verify to an extent or even better from an authorized dealer if possible. Buying from an authorized dealer will have some advantages like some form of warranty or after sales service. Often times in our country, as a general statement, Items gets worse after visiting repair shops, so weigh your options wisely.

More importantly find out what caused the last issue with the inverter: was it a surge or bad connection or what? Then what could you have done to stop it from happening should be the next question. If you don't identify the cause of the last mishap, even a repaired or new inverter will sooner or later go through the same issue.

He can get felicity.....they fix my inverter free of charge under warranty. They have an office in Lagos

No the cc doesn't take 10am to wake. It wakes up very very early.

If u r going the batteryless route, u have to compensate with lots of panels.

Hello so today my tech engr came in.

He said it's the inverter he turned it on and there was a spark sound from the inverter itself, he then suggested to have it fixed that it'll be favorable

My only issue now is will the cost to have it fixed not be up to half the must inverter itself?he said it's a board thing.

What do suggest guys..

Spend to fix or result to getting another ...

I'm talking on a long TERM basis

I am completely off grid!
@NiyiOmoIyunade
@zeestone99
@mangolpupa
@jonescosmo

Sorry I missed this.

When it comes to hybrids, the major damages are the MOSFETs (Majorly due to overload), which are very easy to fix but cost lots of money. The MOSFETs cost around 3k each or a bit less. We have about 26 of them and all needs to be changed anytime some gets damaged.
We also have cards issues ( lightening strike)

So you need to protect your hybrid inverters very well. I mean input and output. Some people make mistakes protecting only the input. That's very wrong. Get your Avr (tomzn and others) , spds, mcbs etc. You will be fine. We have hybrids that are running since 2018 without issues. We also have others with minor issues such as fan replacement.

Stay away from sorotec revo ii. Can’t even begin to enumerate the problems I am going through with a brand new unit less than 6 months old.

I agree with you. Sorotec revo ii is a waste for those who work hard for there money. There is nothing about the inverter that works well

Maybe, Sorotec use to make them good. When I bought my, the Sorotec logo was poorly printed on the inverter casing. I had to send the picture of the inverter & logo on it to Sorotec & they confirmed the inverter was made by them. It only worked for abt 4 months & died. I had to replace it with Felicity. Atleast, if anything happens to it within warranty, Felicity will take responsibility & repair it. That can not be said of Sorotec

Hi Guys,

My first post here. This is my current set up and I’m thinking of upgrading the batteries. I have heard in the past that adding new batteries to a set up would mess the whole grid up and I don’t know how true this is. I am also looking at getting a lithium battery but I’m not sure if my kartel inverter would be compatible with it.

Please advise.

Setup - 5.0KVA 24V Kartel inverter, MPPT solar charge controller, Four 350W solar panels and two 220AH Luminous batteries.
Good afternoon boss, please how much will something like this cost me?

Hello house, I've got a question. What happens to the charge controller if my battery disconnects from the charge controller while PV is still connected?
Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by olopan(m): 11:22am On Feb 05, 2023
Some charge controllers have been known to go bad while some do not.

But under what conditions are you looking at that will trigger such response?

I was wondering what would happen should BMS shut down in order to protect the battery.

Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by olopan(m): 1:40pm On Feb 05, 2023
A BMS would completely shutdown in certain conditions, at other times they would keep working.

1. If the charging voltage is high and the cell voltage reaches the cut off voltage then, it will either shutdown or just cut off charging there by making the battery still available for use as only inverter. (i could be wrong, as i have less experience with DIY LITHIUM)
