Good Morning I was refused last week based on: • I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as required by paragraph R216(1)(b) of the IRPR (https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/regulations/sor-2002-227/ section-216.html). I am refusing your application because you have not established that you will leave Canada, based on the following factors: • Your assets and financial situation are insufficient to support the stated purpose of travel for yourself (and any accompanying family member(s), if applicable). • The purpose of your visit to Canada is not consistent with a temporary stay given the details you have provided in your application. I really need someone to review this for me. What do you suggest I do ? |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Frankrobbn1: 10:57am On Feb 05, 2023 |
SouthernBreeze: For the sake of clarity, Conestoga College doesn't offer a Master's program. Please check your acceptance letter, what was given to you is a graduate certificate program. Pertaining to your question about using your maternal uncle as your sponsor when you're legally married, your chances are quite slim given the fact that your uncle has his family and other responsibilities to cater for. In order for your application to scale through easily, I would suggest you apply alone by being self-sponsored or your hubby should be your sponsor. It will end in praise |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Frankrobbn1: 10:58am On Feb 05, 2023 |
Youthmaster1: There is no standard practice as to when an application will be concluded after an eligibility review has been initiated by the responsible immigration officer at the consul. You can only be positive and wait for a favourable decision. It will end in praise |

Oluebube33: 1. University of Regina accepts only 500CAD tuition deposit 2. University of Winnipeg doesn't require tuition deposit 3. Memorial University in some cases doesn't require tuition deposit. You can use Google to guide you further in this regard. It will end in praise 5 Likes |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Frankrobbn1: 11:07am On Feb 05, 2023 |
Republic001: There are two different portals through which you can submit your study permit application. 1. The first and well-known portal is the GC Key. Here is the link: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/account.html 2. The second is the new portal. Here is the link: https://portal-portail.apps.cic.gc.ca/signin?lang=en Any of the two links works perfectly. However, none of these portals can influence the processing times of your application. Personally, I would suggest using the old portal for it gives room for bulky documents. It will end in praise 5 Likes |
