I applied to Congestoga too though September intake, but they're yet to respond

Conestoga College is facing an unusual backlogs due to several applications submitted to their office. Your admission processing will appear to be quite slow, but keep sending a reminder email for them to expedite action on your file.

Good Morning

I was refused last week based on:

• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as required by
paragraph R216(1)(b) of the IRPR (https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/regulations/sor-2002-227/
section-216.html). I am refusing your application because you have not established that you will
leave Canada, based on the following factors:
• Your assets and financial situation are insufficient to support the stated purpose of travel
for yourself (and any accompanying family member(s), if applicable).
• The purpose of your visit to Canada is not consistent with a temporary stay given the
details you have provided in your application.

I really need someone to review this for me. What do you suggest I do ?

I regret to hear that your study visa was refused. From the excerpt you've shared, the visa officer is not convinced that you've the financial wherewithal and assets to support your stated studies in Canada.

Secondly, your purpose of visit to Canada is not logical given your previous education and current work experience. This is due to inconsistencies in the information you've provided in support of your immigration application.

My advice for a case like this is to build your financial statement and show enough funds in your bank account or Sponsor's account (whichever that is applicable to you). Provide valuation reports for your assets back home and explain how those properties would compel your return home after studies. Do you receive rental payment from your assets? If yes, provide tenancy agreement and receipts.

Additionally, your proposed course of study is it directly relevant to your current employment? It is important for you to show some level of career progression especially for the field you've chosen to specialize in Canada.

Please, I want to know if there is any university in Canada that does not collect any tuition fee before coming to canada.

If there are, I would like to know them.
University of Manitoba doesn’t, got my visa without paying one Naira.

Yes I did, but truth be told I don’t think I can leave my husband behind what do you think we can do that can improve our chances if we both apply and am the sponsor, and we are going to be applying from the UK, so how do we go about the home ties…

I can understand how difficult it would be travelling to Canada all alone without your partner. However, you need to sacrifice for a few months so as to achieve a positive outcome on your application before filling for your hubby to join you. More importantly, it is better to apply from your home country where you've adequate ties than from the UK. Your application is at risk of being denied should you apply from the UK.

Provide the following information in your application to prove strong relationship with your sponsor.

1. Payment of tuition fees in Canada
2. Transfer of living expenses (about 4M) from sponsor's account into your personal account.
3. Family tree diagram showing how this sponsor related to you (from paternal and/or maternal side).
4. Old pictures showing you and your aunt
5. Proof of history or ongoing financial support (this can be proven by presenting your bank statement showing history that she has been supporting you financially)

I hope this information suffices to address your enquiry on how you can demonstrate relationship with your aunt.

All these I cant leave my husband and wife thing. I think people should try and think of the benefit and risk and don let our emotions destroy good things. If you have been living with someone for 7 years, 3 months apart won't be a problem. Unless there are trust issues. Even at that.... sef..

For the sake of clarity, Conestoga College doesn't offer a Master's program. Please check your acceptance letter, what was given to you is a graduate certificate program.

Pertaining to your question about using your maternal uncle as your sponsor when you're legally married, your chances are quite slim given the fact that your uncle has his family and other responsibilities to cater for. In order for your application to scale through easily, I would suggest you apply alone by being self-sponsored or your hubby should be your sponsor.

Amen! I am cleared on the program. Thanks alot. I am a male, what are my chances of me applying alone considering the fact that my account has not being reading in millions. I present job does not pay me up to 200k. Although my uncle is capable financially. I just don't want to make mistake. I need your advise please

There are two different portals through which you can submit your study permit application.

1. The first and well-known portal is the GC Key. Here is the link: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/account.html

2. The second is the new portal. Here is the link: https://portal-portail.apps.cic.gc.ca/signin?lang=en

Any of the two links works perfectly. However, none of these portals can influence the processing times of your application. Personally, I would suggest using the old portal for it gives room for bulky documents.

@house, which is the better option for Form A payment via Flywire? Should I choose "International bank transfer in CAD" or "International bank transfer in USD''? Tuition on offer is quoted in CAD. Thank you.

Thanks so much for your response, I really do appreciate. I used my Uncle as a sponsor which he gave me his SOA with #30M (like $70,000 CAD) and recommendation letter from my Sponsor and reference letter from the bank too.

As regard my previous education I had HND in Computer Science but I applied with my OND which have secured the admission at NBCC and intend to study Civil Engineering at NBCC as my second diploma certificate. I had work experiences at construction companies. I designed 2D, 3D and also a graphic designer at two construction companies before I started working for myself since 2017 till date. I started all that in the application submitted. I intend to reapply since school will resume in September for Fall 2023. I need a professional advice on this, am really confused 😕

On the other hand, can I take the money he paid to me as a gift deed (possibly notorized it) from him towards my Canada education? That way I'llbe sponsorimg myself. If this is possible what documents will be required of him. Please I need your advise, I don't want to make mistakes

Did the person request for GCMS notes for the 3 applications? Then apart from changing programmes what other changes were made to the 2020 applications?
Some people have gotten approval after 4 refusals, I have read someone who was approved after 7 applications. The main thing that will work is to look at the reason for refusal on the notes and tackle them

Mine was approved after 7 times....2016 to 2021.
