From all indications he is a good manager. Great manager even. The thing is your squad has many good players but also has many poor players. He might do better but i don't think he can even win the league if the midfield and CF positions are not addressed.

The squad is poorly constructed. As a fan of a club that suffered from poor recruitment in midfield for years i will tell you this: It almost always begins from the midfield. Liverpool fans will tell you this as well. You have one definite quality midfielder (Enzo). The rest are mediocre or quasi-mediocre.

Another thing you need is a reliable source of goals especially in high quality moments. You have NO reliable goal scorer. You have NO reliable creator of goals.

Your defence though still solid on paper depends on the organizational ability of a 38yr old defender, and history tells us that at that age people suddenly fall off a cliff.

So, you can't control games with your midfield, you can't finish teams off by scoring goals with your attack. Yet you want to win a 3peat. Na yam?
