Amen bro.

She and her other colleague are safe but they are trapped inside. Said others managed to japa just before the ambush.

This is serious! Wish her safe return.

If there is escape route, she should consider her safety first. It is compulsory!

It's better to be inside pending when police arrives.
If those people outside catch her.. Omo

This government does not rate Nigerians. I am not sure things were this crippled in the Middle East before they experienced the Arab Spring revolutions.

Now here's the thing, In a western country, this guy would most likely have received help from his government, be it students loan for that school fees
Nigeria was already subsidizing his tertiary education. Why should he deserve a student loan again?

That's the problem of majority of Nigerian citizens/voters - excessive entitlement. This country is already doing too much for its citizens despite the fact that majority of the populace pay no direct tax.

Tertiary education - subsidised
Fuel - subsidised
Healthcare - subsidised
Forex (dollars) - partially subsidised

The people are not paying the real price for the products they consume and the services they enjoy yet they keep breeding to increase the number of beneficiaries... How country wan grow? It will breakdown at a certain point.

Except the ones we've seen where someone goes to the crime section, sees a post about an old corpse and says I provoked that people of a certain tribe are cannibals and flesh eaters.
Or better yet, is devoting time to propose legislation where people are to be evicted from a certain land because of their tribe and put in slave labor camps. Again, unprovoked.

That's not bants, that's hatred. Sheer hatred.

Nigeria is doing too much for its citizens, yet the country ranks one of the lowest worldwide on the quality of life index, which measures both satisfaction and importance regarding various aspects of life.

Nigerians are leaving the country "that does too much for them" in droves. Are you sure you're not related to Lai Mohammed?

We have also established that those comments said in the past should be ignored. (Will it also be ignored if i say it now?)

First I think you're wrong, especially on healthcare, however, there is no single country on this earth where the government doesn't provide a certain form of subsidy or the other.
NO SINGLE GOVERNMENT.

The issue is simply, the judicious use of the subsidy scheme and then THE SOURCE OF THE FUNDS.

Countries who provide such subsidies or form of welfare do so from tax. Essentially it's the concept of the masses bank. Everyone pays into the system and we built services that everyone enjoys.

So I don't think your problem about this should be the welfare or subsidy, but the adequate taxation and judicious use of the funds.

What I always notice from "most" of those running in droves is that : they always ensure they get their subsidised tertiary education from the "LOW QUALITY OF LIFE" country before leaving.

grin grin Omo, me sef shock oo. How will a citizen of this country say that out government is "doing too much" for it's citizens? grin grin
No be juju be that?

I get complaining or pointing out the inefficiencies of the system, from the inability to track the usage of the funds to the inability to adequately tax it's citizens and raise funds for good welfare.

For christsake, Nigeria is one of the top exporters of crude oil that other nations have used judiciously, but we've somehow managed to make a mess of the whole thing.

You're simply deluded. Nigeria, the poverty capital of the world, is already doing too much for its citizens with fuel hikes, epileptic power supply, constant ASUU strikes, poor health care, poor infrastructure, and insecurity.

It's your type that glorifies and worships politicians for executing minor projects such as boreholes, toilets after embezzling billions of naira.

Typing nonsense with confidence.

To withdraw money in banks is now a herculean task and one has to buy naira notes from POS operates at a rate of 1000 naira for every 5000 naira withdrawal.

Petrol costs are at an all-time high.

Yet, this brainless mofo says Nigeria is already doing too much for its citizens. It's obvious you're not all right in the head.

Inside 30k minimum wage that govt and private companies struggle to pay, they should still be taxed to hell to stop them from having excessive entitlement.....

Sorry about that bro.

I really don't know why people dont see CBN as the problem.

CBN are doing everything to paint banks as the bad guys to exonerate themselves. They keep posting videos of banks busted for not loading ATMs with the meagre new notes given to them. CBN should be ashamed of themselves cos if anything, those videos exposed how economical they are with their disbursement of the new notes among banks.

The money I see in all those videos put together won't be enough for a single branch to serve its customers.

Their aim is cashless policy..so they should do well to come out open and tell the public that the policy means there won't be any cash availlable..and stop giving us false news about how they have given money to banks but the later refused to pay customers.

People should face CBN

Petrol costs are at an all time highbecause Nigeria can no longer afford to subsidise petrol, and its going to get worse.

Compare tuition fees at private universities to public universities, private hospitals to public hospitals, etc.

It's clear that the Government is heavily subsidising public services, as bad as they are.

The population of the country is growing astronomically, oil price is not rising, revenue is stagnant but subsidy remains.

You don't have to be a prophet to know. The signs are clear.
