1. Sickle cell cannot be treated, it's for life, most people don't have issues with it because they simply marry someone else to avoid stories.


2. When a pregnancy is in the early stage, it's not easy to insert a needle and find a tiny foetus, so, you'll wait until it's growing bigger. Hence, my estimate of 4-6months.


3. It's not double dating if you end a relationship to start another one, if you're dating more than one person at the same time, then that's what we call double dating.

But, if you already know that your relationship is not going to work, and you're being stubborn claiming to love your partner, that's why I said the person is too lazy to find someone else.

I am AS and got married to AS. By the special grace of God, our two kids genotype are AA and AS. At the moment, we have stopped raising kids because God blessed us with two healthy boys.

For me, my advise to you is that if your faith isn't large like mine, go for AA.

Because our DNA mutated/evolved to give us the S gene so we can battle malaria. So we wouldn’t die easily and be wiped out from malaria. AS genotype is resistant to malarial.

Goodmorning house. Family and friends are pressuring me to marry but this is the dilemma am going through.

Genotype has become a major barrier for me to get married to lady whom I love. We are tested both AS. My fiancee is from the same ethnic and christian background like me.

On the other hand, I have this female friend whom i recently ask to know about her gnotype. She told me she is AA. Like joke, i ask for confirmation and she brought all d test results frm different lab. The issue is now this female friend is not from my tribe, she from a muslim background although she does not seriously practice it.

My fiancee from my tribal background, but genotype did not match with me. And the other lady from different background, she is AA and match with me. One girl I dated then was AA but the love was not there between us.

Its really frustrating to be AS if you are a Man that want to settle down I am really confused right now. Am above 30. How do i handle this issue of Genotype, ethinc and religious issues? Pls i need advice.

Pretty easy, go for the Muslim lady. You don't want to miserable in the future all in the name of love. No amount of love can handle the pressure that comes with taking care of SS

My wife and I are both AS and we plan to do prenatal testing once she gets pregnant. If you have the means to do these type tests or go for IVF then you should get married to the lady u love. I've already made up my mind to spend up to like 500k for test anytime my wife gets pregnant. So if you have the means you should proceed with marry her.

You're getting it all wrong/mixed up. The probability/chance of having a child with SS is 25% or 1:4.

Stop taking sickle cell tests. Marry and have children with the person you love. In ancient times our ancestors never took such tests to tell them who to marry yet everyone was healthy.

In ancient times Africa used to be filled with gardens and farms which created too much oxygen in the atmosphere which minimised the harmful effects of the genotype and reduced sickness that's why someone who's genotype is SS but lives in a village doesn't fall sick often because they are living around thousands of trees which gives them more than enough oxygen.

It is common in Africa because the previous generations ( from 1920s till date ) did not check genotype before getting married.. the previous generations did not make it a criminal offense for people with the S Gene to marry each other.

Yet people are getting CURED of Sickle Cell everyday.

That is what most people would no tell you.

I have seen about 5 people with Sickle Cell Disease (SS) who got HEALED Completely of Sickle Cell Disease and their Genotype changed to AA. They are AA now.

One was a woman who was AS. In her 40's. She couldn't marry due to get AS genotype. She is now AA.

Another was a little baby of 2 years who was SC. She is now AA. Her mother nearly fainted when she saw the result.

Another was 2 siblings. One 18yrs. The other 8 yrs. She their age gap. The parents got married and both AS hoping not to give birth to SS. The first one came. It was SS. They refused to give birth again until after 10 years due to fear.

After 10yrs, the second one came. Another SS.

But today, those siblings are now AA.

If u tell people, they won't believe that's why even those that have been cured of SS and are now AA don't tell anyone anymore becos people won't believe. I have also stopped telling people too.

Though all these Sickle Cell Disease Patients took something that Healed them all and they took it for a long time. Glad it worked for them. No Surgeries Required atall.

Nigerians should wake up. This is 2023. 95% of the sickness you battle today have CURES but ur wicked government both home and abroad hide it from you so they can keep making money of you all.

Ask those in America, any small sickness u have, they would just pack loads of drugs for you to take for life. Do u know how much the Government both here in Nigeria, UK and USA are making from the Health industry both hospitals and pharmaceuticals?

Even HIV has cure. I have seen someone who was positive for years but now is negative. And the person got the healing here in Nigeria o.
