Kelechi Iheanacho deservedly earns TOTW slot in Whoscored's and Sofascore's EPL TOTW

Whatever anyone maybsay iheana h is good. First start in months and he is in team of the week. He is just limited to a particular tactic/position. But he is good when played to his strengths.
People in this forum may underrate him but he is good. It is too obvious

Thesupernerd, what's your take on the current first choice goalkeeper, Nathaniel Nwosu of the U-20 team?. I have heard from close sources, that he ain't good enough with his grips on the ball. I was not surprised when I just read from the national dialies, coach Manu Garba said same about him.
I hope he will not end up costing the team when it matters most.

BascoVanVeli, so I understand your lads, Akwa Utd beat Remo Stars 3-1 today.

I can imagine the big smile you are wearing right now. 🀣🀣🀣

Lol it was a good match until Andy Okpe had a total mental breakdown and got a straight red. Then the useless ref started blowing in Remo's favour to make it up to them. BTW in the 3 matches we have played since their return they have not picked up a single point.

You expect people to keep hanging around while SE play rubbish...most people dont visit here anymore because there is nothing to discuss. Super Eagles have failed Nigeria with introduction of English plastic leg players like Aribo , Iwobi.

This life is weird. Yesterday he scored the winning goal and the club and fans were all over him. Today he's nowhere to be found.

I just hope he's found alive. The forces of nature don't give a damn when they strike.

Those are unverified reports that started from one unverified Twitter source @radioreports with 1000 followers.

If it is true hopefully, then reputable Turkish outlets will carry it very soon. It will be clear to everyone that he has been rescued.

You can't make a successful comment without mentioning Iwobi or Aribo, painting them in a bad light.

Just exercise patience. That dude is not in Turkey with them. Since everyone is expecting a positive news, it becomes easy to fall prey to confirmation bias.

Mainstream media reported him as missing. If he's found, they'll report it too. One of his teammates just confirmed to Daily Mail that he is still missing

Also in the current Twitter, not everyone with a blue check is to be trusted. Blue check may just mean a paying customer.

I was careful to chose who to post because of this. He isn't a paying customer and I've followed him for quite a while to know he's a trusted source. Notice he's in touch with Christian's management.

Media has been democratised. individuals sometimes are better and faster sources than mainstream media.

I don't understand what you been by media being democractised. If you can't trust the media on simple objective news like this then you'll fall prey to misinformation. There is nothing political attached to Atsu.

That guy in question, as a Ghanian journalist has a much closer emotional attachment to Atsu than Dailymail. Just the way someone like Oma has with Osimhen. He's more likely to believe such a report than Dailymail without verification. Confirmation bias.

Ask yourself, if a terrible news was reported instead about Atsu, would he have rushed to report it? He would rather wait for an official confirmation.

A lot of things are going on in Turkey rn. Atsu is not the only player missing. Even his club are still trying to figure out the whereabouts of some others. Network services will be down and information wouldn't pass as easily as before. In hours time information will be clear and hopefully he'll be fine. If you're not part of Atsu family or had been a fan of him before now, I don't see why this news should then bother you to the extent of looking for real-time updates on him.

15starts. Just 2 goals and 2 assists. Your here and now is used only when it suits your narrative. You are bringing past 5 years exploits. But we are discussing here and now. Vardy is out of form this season. If Rodgers continue playing him this season, they will enter the relegation battle. There is no way KC will start all those much games without hitting goals. Just admit that Vardy has lost it and the earlier KC starts games the better for Rodgers. Here and now. KC trumps. I get am before no be property.

Vardy is definitely off the boil but has been outstanding for over a decade for Leicester City.

By comparison after 6 seasons KC has had one good season and he scored 12 goals that same season Vardy scored 15 that's 2020/21.

Starting games is not a guarantee that you MUST and WILL score .

It's irrelevant whether you start or just get 20 minutes. Just make sure you make a difference the more you perform the more your will play .

And don't forget you have another under performing striker Daka just like KC, all fighting for a start but both are the same essentially not very good.
